This is really good hostel with really good price. İt has a good breakfast and everyday they change one things to another. The room is big. The city is cold but there ars many blanket in the room. There are some table to spend time in the garden also. We liked this hostel so much. They have many tour options for the lakes also.

I highly recommend Amazing Peru. The 8 days we spent in Peru were amazing. Planes, trains, buses, private cars were all timely and comfortable. Tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable. The whole trip was extremely well planned with great visits to Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, Sacred Valley and Lima.

I just returned from my Accessible Galapagos Islands tour with Amazon Peru. There were three of us on the trip - myself, my 84 year old mother, and my 17 year old son. Liam was amazing with the wheelchair and he was very reliable. He was there when he said he would be there and he communicated the plans well so we always knew what was coming up the next. He was just encouraging enough for my mom to try things she was reluctant about without being pushy. He was very knowledgeable about the islands and shared a lot of information. He took us to very good restaurants and was accommodating to our preferences. On the last day when we were supposed to go kayaking again, we were all tired so he worked with the company to change the plans and took us to the Interpretive Center instead. This was a much better option for us and we enjoyed it. The two hotels were very nice, our hosts were friendly, and the breakfasts were very good. Even with the wide range of ages and physical abilities, everyone was ale to have a great time.

I was very satisfied with the services provided by Jim and his company. I visited Peru in the beginning of July 2021. The local tour guides and driver were all excellent, and lodging was superior. I experienced altitude issues but everyone was very patient and understanding.

Jim Turner was amazing. Everything that he promised, was delivered. Great communication before and during the trip. All tour guides were professional, always on time and very accommodating. I would highly recommend Jim Turner for any future trips.

My husband, sister, a friend, and I decided to visit Peru and complete the Inca Trail trek to Machu Pichu. A friend of a friend had used Amazing Peru several years back and recommended the company to us. I wish I had seen the negative TripAdvsior reviews before I booked, as that would have saved me a lot of money and stress. So please heed these warnings and do NOT book with this company.
My experience: We booked the 4-day trek back in January for an August trip. This made sense as the permits for the trek sell out quickly and we wanted to be assured a spot. We paid in full and never got a receipt or any acknowledgment of payment. I didn’t think much of that, as sometimes international companies aren’t as good with communication and just chalked it up to an oversight.
As the trip approached, my friend who organized this started contacting the operator, David, for more information about the trip. He was really slow to respond and at one point we thought he ghosted us, only to finally hear from him weeks later.
But days before we were set to leave, we still didn’t have basic information about when were going to be picked up or any itinerary. We called the company’s phone lines which had been disconnected. We traveled to Peru knowing we had likely gotten scammed but determined to make it to Machu Pichu anyway.
We finally got an email from David telling us the guide would meet us in our hotel the night before the trek for a briefing. The guide showed up and presented us with a completely different tour than we had paid for- the one that did require the costly permits and was NOT the Inca Trail. I guess this is their scam strategy- have customers pay for costly tours and then try to get them to do something completely different thats a lot cheaper for the tour operators.
We declined this alternate tour and found our own way to Machu, but we weren’t able to trek there like we planned, which was a real disappointment.
I emailed David asking for a full refund and he said there was a “mix up” on the booking form which is why we were presented with a totally different tour. But no explanation for the lack of communication or disconnected numbers.
I filed a fraud claim with my credit card company and got reimbursed, but I ended up spending way more $ than planned given we had to quickly find accommodations and alternate travel plans to Machu.
I think Amazing Peru was once a legitimate company but that is clearly no longer the case. Not sure if it’s a full scam scheme now or if the company recently fell apart, but either way do not book with them.

I contacted Amazing Peru in March with my wish list and budget for our Peru vacation to include Lima ,the Amazon , Sacred Valley , 2 days at Machu Picchu ,and Cusco . Within a day Rob responded with the perfect Itinerary that included exactly what we wanted including 4 star lodges and Hotels .
Our guides and drivers in Peru from Condor were professional , extremely knowledgeable ,flexible and always on time !
We loved all our accommodations especially
Posada Amazonas and Hotel Pakaramtu .We also
Recommend the Montana Mountain hike in Macchu Picchu .
Thank you Rob for perfectly coordinating all our adventures . Do not hesitate to use Amazing Peru to plan your trip to Peru
We are already starting to plan our next trip with Rob to the Galapagos

My wife worked with his tour group online for 9+ months organising part of our South American holiday including Lima, Cusco, Machu Picchu, Iquitos etc: Over $10,000us was paid in advance.
After a week in Chile we landed at Lima airport expecting to see a sign with our name on it at Arrivals. When we couldn’t find anyone, we checked our email and while we were in the air they had cancelled our trip and to this point (2 weeks later) have refused to refund us.
Looks like we’ve been conned but have our people looking into it.

The only thing amazing about this company is how theyve managed to scam people. Less than 12 hours before we were supposed to fly out they email saying the entire 10 day tour is cancelled because theyre arent enough people. I understand if they arent able to supply a tour guide, but why they couldnt give me hotel reservation and flight numbers that were already paid for with my money is beyond me. The response was "so sorry" but we can rebook the trip(why any sane person would take a chance on that again is beyond me) or we'll help you with an insurance claim. Of course, they dont offer travel insurance and now its clear why. They are in the business of scamming travel insurance companies. Its plain disgusting

This was widely circulated worldwide news.
As most of the travellers on your group tour were UK clients, they were unable to fly and cancelled the tour. Unfortunately as this was a group tour which is operated with a minimum number of travellers, we were unable to proceed with your tour due to conditions out of our control. This is known as consolidation, i.e. insufficient numbers on the tour; and according to our conditions of sale, we immediately contacted you and offered you a rescheduling of the tour for a future date. We do not offer insurance directly but do strongly recommend travel and cancellation insurance in our booking conditions. ‘
This is indicated in our booking conditions which you are deemed to have read and accepted before completing the booking form. In fact, the booking form is so designed that it cannot be completed unless you have acknowledged that you have read, understood and accepted the booking conditions.

We are stranded at the Lima airport at this company has cancelled the tour. No hotel, no trip, and we don’t know what to do....

Was anyone here who got rorted by this company able to get any money back?
They have conned us for more than $10,000 us and are refusing to refund any money.
We flew half way around the world from Australia to Peru after prepaying the full amount and got an email while on the last plane???

Yes, FYI, we had someone go to their listed address in Lima, Peru with no luck in finding the company at all.
We will engage some people on our return to track this guy down and let you know if we have any success but could take a while.

Did Amazing peru change the hotels stated in your initial itinerary? Ours has changed, of course after paying the deposit.
