Love the old town area. Very nice waterfront restaurants with incredible views of the bay, and just a nice place to walk around. Be warned though - there are lots of steps, but worth the exercise.

We took the bus from Bijela to Herveg Novi for 1 Euro. The town was very peaceful, historic, and clean. It’s very hidden as there are limited signs (when taking Number1 bus). Lots of stairs to take - however it is worth a visit whilst in Montenegro 🇲🇪

Une vieille ville très agréable mais hélas victime de son succès : une foule déambule dans les petites rues et il est très fdifficile d'apprécier les constructions ...

We took the public bus to Herceg Novi and walked down to the lovely promenade by the sea. Steps up to the old town, Stari Grad, could have been a bit more obvious. The steps up provide a good workout in the heat. We had to stop half way up for a cool drink. The old town itself is charming and full of history and art. We would love to return and visit some more of the museums.

Herceg novi est une belle petite ville, agréable à visiter, la forteresse et la vieille ville sont les plus beaux endroits de la ville, à voir !

Helt klart värt ett besök och titta på den klassiska arkitekturen. Många mindre gränder att utforska. Finns bra mat och trevliga restauranger

Car parking is not allowed on the seafront promenade. Unless you have a mobility scooter (I couldn't locate any hire places anywhere on the Montenegrin coast), you have a significant walk back uphill along the winding road, if you are being pushed in a wheelchair or like me rely on sticks/ 4 wheel stroller. As a result we drove to the seafront for a brief glance and then drove back again. There are payable disabled car parking bays (free on Sunday) just outside the old town

I like the old town of HN, there are places with good food & reasonable prices if you look for them, beware of the coastal sharks, NOT in the water! ;)
the best pub is "pub GOT" ... (ask for Dejan or Vlado,friendly barmen) or eat at
"stara kuci" (old house,ask for NIcola, good lad! ) both just off Njegoseva street ...
mention my name,(i am regular at both, u might get a free drink! ha ha )
