We enjoyed our wonderful holiday experience through Explore India Vancouver. The trip was so well organized from the the time we were picked up at the airport until our return. The hotels were elegant, the food was delicious, and each day brought a new surpize. Our trip to Agra was so special . After visiting the Taj Mahal Nazir (our host) organized an incredibul highend picnic , with music, henna painting, wonderful food, and to top it off we have a full view to enjoy the Taj Mahal. What a day. Each event was so much fun, we leanered to cook Indian food rode a rickshaw a tut-tut,and elephants. We shopped, we were entertained and each day was so special. We enjoyed it so much we had a return trip where we enjoyed Northern India, Napel, Bhutan and of course |Mt Everest. Nazir and his staff went out of there way every step of the way. Thank you so much Arlene and Rene ,Vancouver Canada

We purchased a holiday package with this company and it was fantastic. I must say it was not a holiday but more like a educational experience. We travelled by bus,Rickshaw,Train,Plane, boat and also an Elephant. There was so much information presented that it was difficult to absorb it all. all accommodation and most meals were included and they were all 5+ star. Good Job

Excellent guides that are fluent in English. The travel plans exposed us to many sides of India. Every venue was exciting and interesting. They looked after us 24/7. We stayed at top rated hotels, ate at great restaurants and experienced new adventures.

India had for a very long time been high on my bucket list and so when the opportunity came to take this trip of a lifetime, I enthusiastically grabbed it.
After spending months researching the cities and landmarks which I thought my husband and I would enjoy the most and were critical, not-to be missed places, I found the Impressions of India tour of Explore India Journeys.
Nazir Karnai, the president of operations, was the principal with whom I dealt throughout all phases of this adventure. I want to thank him for his vast knowledge of Indian sights and culture, and for his patience and constant outreach. Although I had done a lot of research, I still had many questions and concerns which Nazir never hesitated to answer for me, and in a timely manner. If you have ever dealt with an agency for booking and planning a long trip, then you can appreciate how important the initial vibe, as well as the ongoing treatment you get from the front-line people you are dealing with, is.
What I liked from the get go was that Nazir listened to what we wanted to get out of this trip. I told him which parts of his organized itineraries suited us and asked him how he could add on for us other places which we really wanted to visit on this trip, given we were travelling such a great distance from Toronto.
The itinerary was New Delhi, Varanasi, Khujaraho, Agra, Ranthambore and Jaipur. We added on Udaipur as pre-trip, and then Mumbai and Goa, post trip. From the minute we landed in India, there was a person waiting for us at the airport. Robert was friendly and helpful and even made sure we were properly checked in to our first hotel. He then picked us up at the precise time he said he would the very next morning to escort us and our friends on our first leg of the journey- to catch a flight to Udaipur. We were met in Udaipur again by a wonderful representative of Explore India, Harsh, a knowledgeable and lovely guide who was a pleasure to be with. Smart, caring and easy to be with.
Udaipur was wonderful and eased us into the new and very different culture. Our hotel, the Trident was spectacular and the level of service by the staff commendable. When we flew a few days later to join the group tour, again we were met and assisted by Robert.
Our group consisted of 18 people from across Canada. This was the perfect group size. Perhaps it was just the luck of the draw, but each person was respectable, interesting and well traveled and it was a pleasure to be with them. Our guide throughout the tour was Shah Muzzafar. It cannot be easy to be with a group of travelers for 2 weeks who are strangers, and to be constantly affable, helpful, and empathic. This man knows his stuff! He is intelligent, passionate in his delivery and also has a sense of humour, an understanding of other cultures, and was graceful even when under pressure; trying to get boarding passes and to help 18 people stay together to catch a flight. I rarely saw him without a smile. He was available to all of us, all the time, with insights, to offer help, to share a meal.
Our guide in Mumbai, Ram Anand, is a shining example of what a guide should be. He made Mumbai come alive for us. At one point, wanting us to experience as much as possible in our short time in this fascinating city he said he would stop the bus as were nearing the flower market as it was not to be missed.
One could only absorb the spirituality of this gentle and brilliant storyteller.
The hotels we stayed at, especially the Leela New Delhi, Holiday Inn Aero City, the Hilton Agra, and Hilton Jaipur were lovely, comfortable and the service at each was superb. The hotels booked for us on our private portions; The Trident Udaipur and in Mumbai were spectacular as was the Taj Vivanta in Goa.
I came away from this trip feeling I had seen and learned so much. It was a great experience. The itinerary is thoughtful and encompasses an interesting tour of the sounds, sights and dynamics of this diverse and emerging country. What a trip!! Hats off to Explore India
