We booked a taxi driver who was a Sikh so he came in with us and took us around it was very spiritual and the temple was stunning especially from the water, the kitchens was very impressive also

I had never visited a Gurudwara before and this was my FIRST ever visit to a Gurudwara.
I picked up a scarf from the basket, tied onto my head, paid my visit and came out. Was grateful for every moment of being there. After coming out, near Sarovar (lake), unintentionally removed my head-scarf and that is when some people who worked at this holy shrine came rushing to me and started yelling and rebuking me. I had no clue we couldn’t remove the headscarf near Sarovar so not knowing my mistake I got really nervous and anxious(I already suffer from anxiety).
The irony is, I was rebuked and yelled at while standing at a place which is the known for its kindness, service to humanity, protectiveness and devotion. I got so scared that I could never dare to go to a Gurudwara post this incident.
Note: The rating is not for the holy shrine, it’s for the people who think they are above God and mistreat others.

Please be mindful of what you wear to a holy place. Wear something that covers your body and is not revealing at all. Gurudwara is always a place where everyone is suppose to cover their head with a piece of cloth at all times in the premises.
Refrain from using mobile phones and talking inside the Gurudwara.
The prashad is absolutely divine. Please don’t waste any.
If you connect to the place I’m sure you’ll come back again and again.

In the hustle bustle of a hyper active noisy city, Gurudwara Sri Bangla Sahib is an island of Bliss, Peace & Abundant Serenity. The soulful devotional music transports one to another land and just sitting in the inner hall, where the Guru Granth Saheb resides brings so much of contentment and peace of mind that is hard to describe.
Bangla means residence . The eighth Guru Harkrishan Ji 🙏🙏 was the guest of Raja Jaisingh and stayed in his residence which later got converted into a Gurudwara. Guru Saheb’s benevolence and love helped cure small pox in Delhi as people sprinkled the water on their bodies from the tank, where Guru Saheb had dipped his feet 😍😍😍😍
A must visit to feel centred and balanced and contemplate about the mysteries of life

Very blissful and delicious langar. The environment was very clean and everyone there was very humble and kind. I had a very good experience all the time at this gurdhuwara. 🙏🏻🌸🌺

The Gurudwara itself was stunning, the devotion of the pilgrims inspiring, and the massive scale of the provided langar humbling. But the experience was severely marred by the behavior of the guide and the supervisor(?) of the foreign visitors section. The supervisor yelled horribly at our driver for daring to look for someone to help us at the empty visitors area. The guide did a good job explaining everything, he took some pictures, and generally did a good job. But towards the end he whispered to me asking for a tip, asked for more and then asked for a second tip for the bad-tempered supervisor. This made me regret the generous ‘daan’ I had already put in the donation box. The ugly beginning and end of our visit overshadowed the good and left a bitter aftertaste behind.

Gurudwara bngla again is the peace and wonderful place ever in the new Delhi India is the only one who has been in the morning and I don't know how it's operate on my phone was dead I don't want to go 🔙 to sleep

Who can get guruji langer prasada Days and time of these langers. Is there any entry fees. Is there separate arrangements for sr citizens. Kindly inform.
