We relaxed here and have some refreshments in the Lalit Café. The park is on Kufri-Chail highway and its entry is narrow after the shops. One can park the car inside in free parking or on the main road parking opposite to the entry. The park has a beer bar, a video games parlour, and an ice-cream parlour in the Lalit Café that is under the control of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation. One can enjoy lip smacking snacks, lunch, dinner and beverages here. One can sit outside on sunny days. One can buy woollens and other cloths here. Visitors may get snapped in Himachali clothes for making it a memorable holiday experience. Beware of monkeys here.
It is believed that Indira Gandhi visited this place when India signed the Shimla Agreement with Pakistan in the year 1972 in Shimla and since then this region is named as Indira Tourist Park.

A Good Historical Place where Indira Gandhi signed an agreement between India & Pakistan. The room is preserved here, but rest of the place is converted into a restaurant.

Located near the famous Himalayan Nature Park, the Indira Tourist Park offers panoramic views of the adjoining landscapesIt is located at a distance of 19 Km from Shimla and 6 Km from Fagu.The Indira Tourist Park offers panoramic views of the adjoining landscapes,should visit while in Kufri if time allows.

Located near the famous Himalayan Nature Park, the Indira Tourist Park offers panoramic views of the adjoining landscapes. It is named after the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi, when she visited this area in the year 1972, during the signing of the Shimla Agreement between India and Pakistan.
The park houses a beer bar, video games parlour, an ice-cream parlour and the HPTDC-run Lalit Café. One can enjoy various activities here ranging from yak and pony rides to getting photographed in traditional Himachali dress at reasonable prices. It is a must visit place for nature lovers, wanderers, photography buffs and fun seekers.

Indira tourist park is one such place where you would go for just nothing! The place has nothing but just a restaurant, and shops of Himachali clothes and artefacts (but don't u get it anywhere and everywhere?)
The whole park is set up around the old Chini Bangla, which is yet another unmaintained place!
The toilets here are way too dirty, given to the fact this is a tourist destination!
On one side you can see the jungles of Nature Park, and a chance glance of a deer or a wild bird at times, probability is 1/100

This is an historic place where Shimla Agreement was signed. Entry to the park is Rs. 5/-.it has got a restaurant also. Other than this there is no other activity here .

Visited in May... Travelled as family... This park has a historic significance as the Shimla treaty between Bhutto and Indira Gandhi was discussed here... They still has preserved the room where the discussion had taken place..
It is also place for refreshment and relaxation after watching the Himalayan Nature Zoo

Indira Tourist Park is not worth to visit all the way from Kufri. It is very normal park which you have seen many a times. But is it clean and neat.
