‪Close to the Zoo with an entry ticket of Rs 50 or a combined ticket for both zoo and lake for Rs 130/- The lake is beautiful though not many birds could be seen as best months are January to june Pedal and rowing boats are available for ₹ 300 one can hire a rowing boat with an oarsman for a 20 minutes ride sharing pics‬

‪Boating at lake.‬

‪I will not say it was great experience. Dirty water, no strict or proper safety measures. They charges 300 rs for 20 minutes or else 200 per person for pedal boat.
There is car parking fee and enter fees which comes to around 170 for three person. Zoo charges, boating charges and other activity charges are different.
I will say after charging so much, no proper or systematic arrangement or measures taken.
Tourism has not tourism but money minting business.‬

‪Lovely Park along the lake with boating facility, aviary & bird watching tower, next to zoo‬

‪Lovely park along the lake, with boating facility ( Rowing boats & pedal boats ). Garden divided in various sections, developed along the banks of the river, 1-2 Kms long. Aviary has 10 + Peacocks & other colourful birds. Another section of smaller aviary is along the kids play area. A Bird Viewing tower is located here for bird watching.

Evening visit advised. say btwn 3-6 pm, entry closes at 5.30 pm. Can be clubbed with Aquarium & zoo.‬

‪It is a small lake just next to the zoo. You can get a combo ticket for zoo and this lake. Good place for boating in the evening.‬

‪Lake and aviary adjacent to the zoo‬

‪Good place for boating - remember though that it is more taxing on your body than it looks :-)

And also for a walk in the aviary containing many peacocks, parrots and other birds.‬

‪Beautiful Lake with Boating and Aviary‬

‪This was a hidden spot in Mysore for me. This place is a lake + aviary. Located within the city. There is an entrance fee of ₹50 for adults and parking fee of ₹50 for four wheelers for four hours. Parking space is quite vast. Mask is a must and you will have to buy one for ₹5 in case you don't have one though the people selling weren't wearing it themselves.
There is a lake inside where boating is available. Peddle boat costs ₹30 per person for 10-15 mins ride and a boat ride costs ₹60 per person for ~10 mins ride. Getting your turn to the ride might be tricky as it's not well organised here. You can see some migratory birds in the small islands and tall trees in the lake.
There is also an aviary in the premises which has different bird types. There is no entrance fee.
There is also a small park for children and seats for visitors to relax.
Overall this place is a must visit when you're in Mysore.‬

Boating available. Pedal and rowing too.

Life jackets are limited quantity.

Kids play area. Enjoy.‬

‪Huge and well maintained Park !!‬

‪This park is very close to the zoo and we can visit zoo from inside the park as well.
Ample Parking space is available for both 2 wheelers and cars.
The charges are 50 for adults and 25 for kids.
They have a combo package for the zoo and park too.

Cycles are available for rent.
There is a kids play area, butterfly park, boating inside the park.
Lots of different birds can be seen too.

Overall a very good place.‬

Need to deposit 10rs to carry plastic bottle, same will returned upon return

‪Worth a visit for sure‬

‪Visited after 8 years. Place has gone down a bit. The lake had weeds and did not look as pristine as it had earlier. Also, the tower facing the lake was closed. Still, worth a visit! Great place to walk and soak in nature. The aviary was fantastic - peacocks and other birds!

Good parking facilities.‬
