‪Early morning visit, direct from Tiger Hill‬

‪Beautiful monastery. My Tour Guide Prem from Ashmita Trek & Tours took me there very early morning on the way back from viewing sunrise at Tiger Hill. The monastery was still locked but the monks were up and about, and very obligingly unlocked the monastery for us. Too early for other visitors so we were able to explore freely.‬

‪This can be skipped if you have...‬

‪There is nothing much to see in the monastery and can be easily skipped if you're short on time and want to spend some more time with nature or go on long walks in mall road.‬

‪Spiritual Monastery with history!‬

‪Easily accessible from the main road, travelling towards Darjeeling town, you need to walk a few steps down towards this monastery. You might not find too much of rush and you can peacefully spend some time inside. Not a very large area to explore like other large monasteries, yet a peaceful & spiritual experience.‬

‪One of Oldest Monastery in Darjeeling ‬

‪One of the oldest place in Darjeeling.
Located in Near Ghum Railway station.
Very small and old monastery.

This monastery reminds us of rich Buddhists culture and its heritage here in Darjeeling.

‪Beautiful quaint Monastery‬
