Expect a 3.00 am Hotel pick up and at least 1/2 journey to the viewing point. Expect a long wait for dawn and WRAP UP with a heavy warm overcoat . Have a good Camera and be ready to take the most beautiful fotos of the Sunrise over the Himalayas.

One of the highlights of the visit to Darjiling. Need to reach early around 4 (depending on what time you visit) before sunrise to get a good view of Kanchanjenga before sunrise. We were fortunate to have no clouds and a good sighting. It was cold but clear day which provided excellent way to experience sunrise. Absolutely top place to go!!

Most of the traveler avoid this place because this is a very remote place, but the silence of this place is very attractive. The mobile network is very pore.
When you reach this place you will forget to use mobile, because of the beauty of this location.

Feels like on top of the world.The beautiful morning sunrays falling on Kanchenjunga mountain makes one feel great.Watching the sunrise at 6am from such fantastic point is great thing that can happen.

Windy, Chilling & superb view... Watching the sun rise is entire on your luck but do not forget to carry windcheater and earmuff. Apart from the cold at 4:30/5am the place is super windy. It won't be disappointing even if you fail to see the sun because of the weather

Lovely place to enjoy Sunrise as well Sun Set. We had a fantastic view of Kanchanjunga and it's Colour Changing.

We had a fantastic time in Jhandi Eco Huts. The room that was provided to us is very unique in true sense. The View of giant Kanchenjungha is breathtaking. The location of Jhandi Eco Huts is very unique as one can see the Plains of Dooars, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Kanchenjungha and Nathula from a single view point. The staffs are very polite. One can feel at home in the resort. The food is extremely good, be it bengali fish meal, or the Chinese. People can come for a short weekend trip to Jhandi. Board the HWH-APDJ Kanchenkanya Express and arrive at New Mal Jn. call the Jhandi Eco Huts and they will provide you a car. Its just 32 kms from New Mal.
