21st January, i had a flight to Kolkata from bagdora, siliguri ! Firstly, when I arrived at Kolkata airport which is also Called netaji subash chandra bose airport, i find a lot of taxi drivers infront of airport with shameless Behavior, I don’t know why policemen are not helping foreigners to guide them when there are in need ! I had no sim, no wifi at airport for free, and the taxi drivers were asking a lot of money to get in hotel.
Secondly, I found that the oyo hotels are useless in Kolkata! A lot of scammers or asking a lot of money even if we booked a hotel. I recommend not to use oyo in Kolkata. Use agoda which is genuine and reasonable price was shown. How can I say this place is called the city of joy????! I request all the government to keep strong rules and regulations towards the citizens. Too much dirty and unhygienic, people were not wearing mask! Even in howrah station, the TT were asking money as a fine without tickets entering the station. He even gave warning and was tryin to ask money alot of time which seems corrupt in that station! Even police didn’t help us and understand us.
Lastly, I just wanna say that make your place clean, hygienic and not to scam or corrupt to outsiders or foreigners. I don’t know this message will be read by any of the government officers or not. I hope they will get it! I am from ????Nepal, and india is my second home nation. I love india and a lot of my friends, relatives, are also from india ????! We both country have more than a diplomatic, emotional, brotherhood relations! We have a long history of relationship. I hope the government will try to implement and give awareness to the people of India!
I also wanna say that india has best food and amazing lifetime experience.

We are here in Kolkata the city of joy for the first time and we get the chance to visit this beautiful place of Kolkata which is very beautiful we get to see old baris n making goddess sculpture which is very beautiful

Kumartuli or Kumortuli is a place in north Kolkata which is famously known as potter's colony.There are many talented,extremely skilled and hard working potter's who work day and night during puja season and make Durga and other clay idols.It is one of my must visit place before the Durga Puja.You can feel the Puja in advance.

Thoroughly enjoyed the walk led by Walks of Kolkata. The founder, Jay Saraogi is a storehouse of history and tells it as it is.He is patient and managed the group very well.

My mother and me did the Religious walk in Kolkata with Mr. Saraogi. The places we covered are: Kalighat Kali Temple, Dakshineshwar Temple, St. John’s Church, St. Pauls Cathedral, Nakhoda Masjid, Belur Math, Pareshnath Jain Temple. The tour was well researched and organized. They made special arrangements as my mother being a senior citizen. Thanking you guys once again.

Me and my family had a great time. Mr. Saraogi took us through the main attractions of Kolkata city. The best thing about it was the time management. We were well aware of our itinerary and things we would do next well in advance. Best wishes Walks of Kolkata.

Highly Recommend
I beleive Walks Of Kolkata is doing an amazing work and I would highly recommend to each and every tourist visiting Kolkata. Their offbeat tours really helped me to immerse into the culture and history Kolkata. Our guide introduced us to many wonderful local delicacies and always found new treats for us to try. The experience wouldn't have been nearly as great if they weren't there with us. Overall, a wonderful company with wonderful people!

With Walks Of Kolkata I explored “China Town” of Kolkata. It is an awesome place for early morning Chinese breakfast. It was an great experience. Our guide introduced us to some elderly resident chinese people. I was amazed to know that they spoke fluent Hindi, English and even Bengali. We also visited few chinese churches in the nearby areas. I must say, it was a morning well spent.

Kolkata has its own character. A hustling and bustling place with people all around, an ideal place for street photography as well. Guidance of Jay Saraogi made the walk glitch free. We explored many offbeat places without any hassle. I wonder if I would have been able to do this own my own? Never!
