We have 2 daytime tours, including a dumpling tour and cooking class that is good fun for kids with a bit of coordination, and also a breakfast tour that has all sort of noodles, dumplings, and snacks from street stalls and little hole in the wall restaurants. Hi - thanks for checking in! We often have solo travelers on our tours, and find the best thing about food tours is getting to sample so many dishes in just a few hours, especially when you're traveling solo and have limited stomach/table space. Also, I have to say, we have the BEST guests in the world, and it's not uncommon that some of our guests grab a drink together post-tour (especially on the evening ones). If you'd like to know which tours have lots of solo travelers during your dates, just shoot us an email and we can let you know!

Hi- we usually advise that guests allow an hour to get through customs and immigration and then another hour to get into the city from PVG. We'd love to get a chance to eat with you, but do advise that with a 7:50 arrival time, you'd be cutting it REALLY close. Flight delays and traffic are common in Shanghai.

Hi Ruth- Thanks for your interest in our tours. Unfortunately, Shanghai is not the most wheelchair friendly city. Uneven pavement and curbs can make the walking portions of the tour difficult with a wheelchair. Additionally, all of our tours include at least one stop at a venue with steep stairs. Hi Richard- The total distance over the 3 hour tour is approximately 1.5 miles. Finding a taxi to take you from stop to stop could be quite tricky as some of the stops are off the beaten path a bit, so you'd need to walk back out to a main street to find a taxi.

Hi Rick, Thanks for contacting UnTour Food Tours. We cannot accommodate a gluten-free diet on either our Dumpling Delights or Street Eats – Breakfast tour as most dumpling wrappers, pancakes and noodles are wheat-based. If you are ok with soy sauce (I know people with an intolerance can usually stomach it, but people suffering from celiac disease cannot), then our Night Markets tour is a much better option, but it’s very difficult in general to find completely gluten-free dining in Shanghai.
