We had an amazing sunset sail on a 50-foot single monohull sailing yatch off Costa Rica's Pacific coast. The crew was friendly and professional, the captain was excellent, and the food and drinks were top-notch. Cruising with friends and watching the stunning sunset made it a perfect experience.

This is a must do! Big highlight of our trip. Amazing experience with a small group. Perfect for couples and to truly take in the beauty of the ocean. Amazing crew and service! Would do it again and again and again!

Excellent sailing cruise! Our yacht actually sailed as opposed to others who dropped the sails as soon as they reached the beach. Only 14 people and fantastic drinks and food. Bismarck, Chris, and John were the best crew we could hope for. Sign up for this cruise now! It was very difficult to get a slot.

We love sailing and we love it even more when our guest notice. There is nothing better than turning off those engines during a tour and using pure wind power. Thank you for including that in your review.

Bismark, Jeffrey, Jonathan are the best crew ever!! We have taken this trip with them four times now, and every trip is a great adventure!! Fantastic snorkeling in beautiful coves or Las Catalinas, delicious food and drink. Beautiful boat with plenty of room for the a small group. The crew is knowledgable and go out of their way to ensure that everyone has a great time. I've seen small sharks, incredible fish and large Sea Turtles while snorkeling with a guide.
Highly recommend for couples and families. 5 stars!!

We did the private morning charter with Jonathon and Chris. The crew was fantastic. They played great music, served delicious food and cocktails and helped us find fish when we were snorkeling. The sailing was great and we didn’t want it to end. We had such a good time that when a different couple joined us on our trip we had to do it again! The next time we had Bismarck and Jeffree. We had great wind for sailing and ate the most delicious pineapple shaped like a turtle. We’ve done many sailing tours when we travel. Usually it’s on a big catamaran with a lot of people. The private tour on a monohull where you can heel is the best!

What a wonderful experience this was - a small group, amazing, attentive staff , beautiful sunset and just a great trip. We were fortunate to even see a pod of dolphins. We couldn’t ask for anything more!

Went on a morning sail with our closest family friends from NY. We all had the BEST time. Food was excellent, staff was fantastic, it was an all around perfect activity to spend quality time together in paradise. Highly recommend!

We did the sunset sail and snorkeling with our family, including three grandchildren. It was an amazing day. Beautiful water, expert and friendly staff, and great snorkeling! Bismark and Jonathan were the best! They even turned the boat around and retrieved our 4 year old's hat that flew off! They went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time. 5 stars!!!!

The crew was excellent and took very good care of all of the passengers. The food they served was delicious, and the drinks were always flowing. The boat was a bit crowded with 12 passengers plus 3 crew. The marina was beautiful and brand new, very easy to find and get to the boat.

Hola! Glad you had a good sail with us. We try to find the balance of offering a more intimate experience and not a booze cruise while still maintaining an accessible price. 13 seems to be the perfect number. Usually it does not feel crowded, but maybe this day the personalities were big! :) Pura Vida

We took the morning cruise on Jan 31. It completely exceeded my expectations. It is a small boat with a maximum of 13 passengers. The crew is terrific - friendly and safety conscious. The tacos for lunch were terrific and they had a full bar. The best part is that they actually sailed, not just motored. Plus, they depart from the Maria which makes boarding very easy.
The week before, we took other visitors on one of the large catamarans out of Playa Tamarindo. There were at least 70 guests and the sails were never raised. Plus, you have to board by getting in a small boat at the beach and transferring to the catamaran anchored further out. It was not easy for anyone with mobility issues.
Highly recommend serendipity!!

Hi, where all do you sail to? How long are you sailing verses anchored for snorkeling/fishing? Thanks!

Most our trips are private (with the exception of Sunday and Tuesday afternoon). So our captain can adjust the trip to fit your needs. We don't have a set place we anchor, it all depends on the winds, tides and day. :) typically we sail for about 1.5 anchor for about 1.5 and return sail is about 1 hour.

We are staying up the coast at Playa Hermosillo. Is that too far away for a day charter? We might have as many as 9 adults and 7 children (ages 7 - 15).

Hi Will, Sorry for the delay. We have two playa hermosa here in Costa Rica....maybe a few more, but at least two big ones. We are in Guanacaste. So, if you are staying at the playa hermosa in guancaste, that is not too far. Probably about one hour in shuttle bus. Hope that helps. :)

We are very close to the palms. :) We don't offer transportation, but we could easily arrange it.
If you like walking we are about a 20 minute walk, mostly along the beach.
