Our dream vacation! I took my kids and grandkids to Costa Rica in June. First time we were all in the same place in 7 years. There were 15 of us in all so we wanted experiences we could enjoy as a group. Don Grant’s excursion “Get lost in Costa Rica” had been highly recommended to us by a friend. We were not disappointed at all. In fact, from the time he picked us up at our hotel, he engaged with our entire group and was so enjoyable to be with. While driving to our destination, we learned a lot about the country and the people. And once we got there, it was nonstop fun. I can’t say enough about this excursion, but I think without Don leading the group, something would’ve definitely been missing. We will go back to Costa Rica and we will seek him out again. It was the highlight of our trip.

We did two tours with Don and had a great time. He was energetic, informative and very friendly. The transportation was updated and clean and he has a very friendly and helpful driver. Thanks Don!

Our family of 5 did an afternoon private surfing lesson with Get Lost in Costa Rica. We were all first time surfers. Don gave us a quick lesson, and we were in the water. We all got up on our boards surfing on the first try (with Don and his son’s help). After a few passes, I attempted to surf a wave on my own, but didn’t have the timing right, so fell quickly. Don makes sure you take the wave at the right time and lets you know when to pop up. By the end of the lesson we were all happy for trying something new and exhausted. Bonus: They photograph the entire lesson and send you the pics. It was a nice treat to enjoy the surfing experience with my family and not worry about capturing the moment.

Our 2nd time in over a 8 yr span we used get lost in Costa Rica, Don did an excellent job finding just the right excursion for our family ages 8 thru 66. You won’t find a more personable guide to show you Costa Rica ,we went to a waterfall, the rainforest, hot springs , and random stops to ensure we saw everything on our list , tons of memories, highly recommend:) thank you Don

Get lost in Costa Rica is THE BESTCand ONLY tour company you should use! Don is such a great person and very professional. We went on multiple excursions two different days and were SO THANKFUL to have Don leading our adventures.
I would definitely recommend his services and hope to come back in a few years to do more with him!

Used Don to book ATVs and Ziplines. Had an amazing experience. Don really does an outstanding job putting together these adventures. Will definitely be booking with him again.

Don Grant is by far the best tour guide in Costa Rica! We have been here several times and have started only using him! He has become a good friend and I miss seeing him when we have to leave! He is so knowledgeable about his country, and proud to be a Costa Rican. Always friendly and happy!! He has Introduced us to some very friendly people here in Costa Rica. If you have the chance to book with Get Lost in Costa Rica, do not hesitate!!

Don did a fantastic job as our tour guide!! We had a group of 11 people, with 5 kids ranging in ages of 4-12. Don was fun and had the kids laughing. Everyone felt at ease. I would definitely recommend him to everyone!!

Don was amazing leading up to our vacation in Costa Rica being very responsive to questions that we had about travel. He set us up with a private tour with amazing zip lines, and fun horseback riding, and even though there was a small injury he went above and beyond to ensure that I got the care needed—Which goes a long way when you’re in a foreign country.
We had an opportunity to take surf lessons from Don, my wife, and I, and we are both ecstatic with how we progressed over the course of that session and how much fun we had learning how to surf in the ocean. Tamarindo is an ideal surfing spot for those that have an interest in learning how to surf.
We are very lucky to have the opportunity to work with Don and he helped us create great memories for this special anniversary trip we took! -Dan

Hi Don,Is there any half-day option trips? We’re traveling in March 2020 and we fly out the next day at 7 AM. Getting back to hotel around two or three at the latest would be preferred. Thanks

We came to Costa Rica 10 years ago and was on a tour where we visited a restaurant called Las Iguanas which had lots of iguanas all around it, we would like to incorporate a tour this time which included it and maybe stay nearby overnight. Do you do any trips which includes wildlife birds etc..?

Hi we are a family with two kids 16 and 20. My 20 year old is disabled. She needs help walking and with balance. Do you have any activities she could do. Se is very small 87 lbs. Thank you.

Hello! I will be in Tamarindo Aug 5-12 and am wanting to see the rainforest, see some of the local wildlife and possibly take a ATV trip. Can you tell me what would be the best course of action? How much would such a day trip cost for 2 people? And see some of the city.

You can do the safari boat trip ! how many people are traveling with you? you can also do the combo Tours normally we hire a nanny so the nanny can take care the baby while you do the activities and Annie were join us on the Taurus so I need to activity and 90 can take care of the baby and then you see the baby after each activity
