Loved this quaint fabric and yarn shop. Fun fabrics. Great ideas. Enjoyed depth of inventory and displays. PLEASANT AND helpful staff. Cool dog too. THANK YOU.

Great selection of “Alaska” oriented style fabrics, projects, and idea starters. Fun to shop around the store. Hard to walk out of here empty handed.

Such an outstanding variety of material, patterns, kits, etc. If you want to make a specialty quilt due to the area, this is the place to shop.

This is a wonderful shop for anyone who likes to work with yarn, cross-stitch, or unusual fabrics. The inventory is amazing. Besides items for needlework, however, the shop also carries lovely jewelry, Christmas ornaments, and other locally made gifts. I especially liked the buttons made of slices of reindeer antlers as well as the Alaskan-themed fabrics. The owner was helpful and friendly. It's worth the hunt to find this special shop!

Stumbled upon this shop( yes, I knew it was in town but not looking for it). Very nice selection of all things Alaska for the fabric: yarn artists. Beautiful BOM that I signed up for. Loved this store

This is a locally owned shop filled with amazing fabrics, yarns, and cross-stitch patterns. The owner is super friendly and helpful. She has Alaskan fabrics, tons of gorgeous batiks, buttons, and so much more. The selection is amazing! So glad we stopped. I can't wait to make this gorgeous bear quilt in memory of my two week Alaskan vacation!

Went in at the recommendation of a woman in my knitting group to look at musk ox yarn. So expensive! Couldn’t bring myself to get it, but did buy a nice scarf kit called “Memories of Juneau” for $30.....5 mini skeins of hand dyed merino in colors representing eagles, granite, pine, glaciers, and red for the bawdy houses! Great souvenir to remember Juneau! You have to hunt this place down....it’s upstairs in a building housing other stores.

Located in a lovely old building (on the second floor - there's an elevator), Changing Tides is a small well stocked shop. Look for local crafts, great batiks with an Alaskan theme, and quality fabric. The staff is friendly and you'll feel like you're at home in your local quilt shop. Lovely local yarn is available in the room next door.

This is a must-see for all quilters. They have an excellent variety of good-quality fabrics, including many Alaskan-themed fabrics, plus many other gift items, jewelry, quilting/sewing notions and accessories, kits, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was limiting my purchases because everything was very tempting!

This store is amazing! They had a large selection of unique Alaskan themed batik fabrics, as well as patterns and printed Alaskan wildlife panels. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I am an avid quilter and always look for quilt shops wherever I go. I have to say that this shop is in my top 3 shops I've ever visited. I only wish I had allocated more time to shop!
