Dinner and show with Pietman Geldenhuys on 14/11/2020. Really nice intimate venue. Staff very friendly. Pietman absolutely brilliant. But! Food is not up to standard for dinner and show. We had chicken for a starter which was ok. Then chicken again for main course!! Really!! This is food (although tasty) that you expect at a training event! Blou hond can do much better. This said I would still come again!

I wouldnt even give this place a half a star. Super over priced and you cant even enjoy yourself because you constantly being told to keep quiet. I will never waste my money at this venue again

It is totally not acceptable to pay an arm and a leg to treat your loved one to a jazz and dinner evening, when only the music made the evening. The food was of such poor quality, that I am of the opinion this establishment should not be serving food and question the quality control and food health and safety? Will never return.

We have spent our valentine dinner with The Blou Hond. The food, service and atmosphere did not meet our expectation. The food was cold and the buffet was open for 30 minutes. The waiter kept on asking us if he could bring the bill and that was since 20:45. Most of the people already left by now. The music was so loud that we could not hear each other. This was suppose to be a romantic night but it was a show. We have paid R990 excluding the drinks. This was not value for money and I will never come again.

They advertise themselves as LeSi Restaurant both as open for Sunday Lunch but when you arrive they are closed. :-(

The food was not entirely up to standard, in general it was good but things like the seafood lasagne was not good at all.

Very intimate dinner theater, unique, excellent experience, great service and super artists.I would recommend for a break from the week.

Personnel are great, venue is awesome! Love that the theatre is "small" - makes it intimate. Recommend it to anyone.

The theatre is intimate and beautiful. The performance was simply amazing. It was my first time at Die Blou Hond and I am certainly going to be a regular.

I enjoyed the meal as well as the artists. Cornell Cousins was good and the food was good. The atmosphere was also very good.
