Thabo was our driver
He is really professionnal and punctual
He knows a lot about his country
The car was nice and get air co.
Fair price
We had a really good Time, obviously we will choose Sandton Cab & Thabo again when we will come back !

Thambo was an excellent and very knowledgeable tour guide. Mandella’s House, the Hector Pieterspn Museum, the Regina Mundi Church, and Chaf Pozi were all very historically interesting.

Apartheid Museum was closed. Regus Mundi was closed. Mandela House and Hector Pierson were fine. We were home an hour or so early. Not worth the money.

After extensive research via Google and Tripadvisor we found that Sandton Taxi Services offered the tour we were looking for. They were super easy to deal with all via WhatsApp and we only booked 48 hours before our tour began. We received confirmation, drivers name, number and car reg the day before. On the day our driver met us 10 minutes early and instantly out us at ease and made us feel safe and welcome. Nku our driver and guide was friendly, informative and also respectful of when we wanted to read or linger a little longer whilst also politely reminding us of how much we wanted to squeeze in. If you are planning to visit Johannesburg these are the guys to show you around! Also, the team did all of this before we’d even paid and took payment at the very end via card.

We used this company for a return trip to Pilanesberg National Park. It was easy to communicate with them through What’s App and they also forwarded a full invoice to us through email. A day before travel they reconfirmed our booking and they also sent us the details of the car and driver. Nkululeko was our driver, he arrived on time and the car was clean and comfortable. We both felt very safe and I can highly recommend this company and driver. Nkululeko helped us change some money on our trip back to Johannesburg and we also used him for the trip from Rosebank to the airport the following day.

We used Sandton Taxi Cabs for a tour of Johannesburg / Soweto earlier on this month, and from start to finish, we were impressed by the high degree of professionalism of this company. Communication was made very easy (responses on Whatsapp were given within the hour, usually much quicker that that). I would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Johannesburg.

This day visit of Johannesburg / Soweto was excellent, and most of it had to do with the high professionalism and kindnbess of our guide Elvis.
We first met him at the OR Tambo airport where he was waiting for us, and he knew our flight had been delayed. He took us through the city centre of Jo'burg and showed us the places that mean the most to him, which was very nice. We visited the apartheid museum and Mandela's house and he took us to a wonderful local restaurant in Soweto where we had a delicious meal. After another ride around the city to see the stadium and the Soweto towers, he took us back to the airport in time for our final flight. Overall, communication was made extremely easy with Sandton Taxi cab, and in particular with Elvis - who is very knowledgeable on the history of Jo'burg - , and I would warmly recommend this company to every traveller who is keen to discover Johannesburg. If you are lucky enough to have Elvis as your guide, then you are in for a treat! Also, Elvis was very keen to fully adapt the route of our tour based on the time that we had at our disposal, and based on our own centers of interest. Thank you again Elvis!

I cannot rate Sandton Taxi Cabs highly enough. Our booked airport transfer never materialised and we had to find an urgent transfer to Sun City. Sandton Taxi Cabs arranged an urgent driver within 30mins. They kept myself and the individual at the airport fully informed on progress and even with the urgent nature of the arrangement they still charged less than our previously arranged transfer was going to cost.
Seldom these days to you encounter such exceptional customer service and I would recommend Sandton Taxi Cabs to anyone who need a reliable, trustworthy, customer centric taxi service. If only you could award + stars on top of the five allowed

I can’t recommend this company highly enough. Everything you want after a long international flight. Punctual, polite, super efficient over WhatsApp. One of the best transfer services I have used
