We found almost all the spices we needed. They have a huge selection. Friendly service. Afterwards we had a selection of indian dishes in their little restaurant. What a treat !

What an amazing experience you can technically get anything you want in this spice place. Think you are in India and just explore. They have an awesome selection of spices from all corners of India and the service from the staff was out of the world. They will help you till you get to the check out counter that to with a smile. I really had a lovely time shopping spices at this place.

This place has so many spices, snacks and sweet insence. It would have been nice if they had someone to assist with choosing as some spices one just has no idea what it is for unless maybe for chefs.

If you travel to Durban a must visit destination. You will find almost any type of spice you desire. The authentic restaurant on site in the Spice emporium brought back memories of Mumbai, India. The masala tea is awesome and the food is sumptuous.

First time we bought spices here, to my amaze, they are quite reasonable too and great value for money......

You could easily be forgiven for thinking that you were in Mumbai. The menu is extensive. The servings are also reasonably priced - R30/40
We had the sev puri - served 6 in a portion. Little puffed puris with potato, tamarind sauce and mint sauce with lots of sev.
Bombay Aloo toasted sandwiches with sev
Bhel puri - puffed rice mixed with mint and tamarind sauce and sev
Bombay crush - it’s like a pink (rose flavored) milkshake with China grass and the little black seeds (sabja)
Masala chai - cardamom flavored tea - perfect for after the lunch
Aloo paratha - potato filled bread - delicious with the sauces and sev
Khaman dokla - gram flour and sev - I felt that this was a bit dense.

A visit back to durban is not complete without visiting this spice store and stocking up on all your spice requirements until your next visit back to the mother land

Got a recommendation from a friend to try this out as an avid curry cook. What a gem. Fantastic selection of spices, teas and traditional Indian cooking utilities. Little curry shop inside is amazing.

Sehr empfehlenswert!
Gewürze etc. im Überfluss, sauber und sehr ansprechend.
Die integrierte Snackbar ist ebenfalls super!

スパイスを買いに行きました。入ってすぐにベジタリアンスナックがそろっていて、いくつか食べたのですが、どれもとてもおいしかったです。きれいな店なのに、コスパがよかったです。スパイスも種類が多く、スーパーと同じ値段でした。
