Great beach. Good local amenities, toilets, parking and shops. Great sea conditions, just keep to the demarcated area as there are rip currents to the sides of the bay. Easily the best beach on the South Coast.

Ramsgate has always had a good beach and excellent bathing. Surf and life guards are attentive and there is plenty space for everyone and the blue lagoon restaurant and bar and it's deck is right behind the beach. It's a great setup. The laggon is a bit dirty.. And some idiots I. The area decide every now and then to burn all the waste washed up on the beach. Thus is unusual and this bad practise should stop. All in all a very good beach

The place is nice with toilets and parking facilities. Car guards to watch over. Restaurants around also available. In all good experience.

With its Blue Flag status and good toilet facilities this family friendly beach has a good car-park right next to the beach.
There are lifeguards to provide water rescue and the sea water is of exceptional quality.
Within walking distance there are some small shops, a filling station, several restaurants, and many accommodation variants.
Visit the Ramsgate Conservancies Whale Viewing Deck set in a small nature reserve and walk the Ramsgate Ramble along the coast. Inland there is a wetlands walk and during the Season there are guided walks of the historic areas of the Village organised by the staff at the ETC (Eco-Tourism Center) run by the Ramsgate Tourism in conjunction with Ramsgate Conservancy where you can get all the information about other local attractions.

it is a nice quiet beach which have an area for bathing and there are life guards on the beach , nice tidal pools for the kids to swim in shower and toilet facilities at beach and a great beach for a stroll and an excellent area for fishing of the rocks

This beach really has everything. It is a blue flag beach ( good water quality and toilets) , it has a great tidal pool, nice shore scramble, paddle boats and canoes for hire and best of all, easy access to the Famous and amazing Waffle House. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is depending on the tide, the slope of the beach could be scary for younger kids.
