We booked a trip to Dalyan from Oludeniz. We’re told that Mehmet would be our guide for the day and he is the best. We weren’t disappointed as he lived up to this praise and exceeded our expectations. He is funny, knowledgeable, engaging and ensured everyone was included and felt part of the whole occasion. We have had numerous guides across the world, who have made our trips enjoyable, we feel Mehmet is the best we have experienced. Great day out at Dalyan, mud baths and Turtle beach, wonderful unforgettable experience. We would book this again.

We had other family members with us on this visit who had never been to Turkey so we booked 3 different tours so they could enjoy what Olu Deniz has to offer. The tour to Dalyan was particularly memorable due to the excellent guide Mehmet, but all the tours were interesting good value and interesting

We joined the Dalian tour with the Guide Tour this summer and ⁇ it as much as usual. The tour was excellent and our guide, Mr. Mehmet, made our tour even more fun with both his experience and knowledge. Thanks again to the Guide tours family! Highly recommended! I wish to meet you again ...

We did the Dalyan mud bath with Turtle beach Excursion and Saklikent gorge, Tlos and Yaka. Both excursions were excellent, Mehmet (the guide) made every part fun and fascinating. We weren't sure about the mud baths before we went but they were great fun! The river cruise was spectacular and it was nice to see the turtles. The gorge was beautiful and lunch at the trout farm was in lovely surroundings. Tlos was fascinating and Mehmet made it extra special with his archaeological knowledge. Mehmet was also on hand to take videos and photos so we can remember the days. I don't think you'll find excursions to beat these with Mehmet.

What a brilliant day out on a boat to Turtle Beach and mud bath with family, one of whom is in a wheelchair. A totally inclusive trip for a family with a disabled child. Mehmet the tour guide was incredible, what a lovely man, he made sure Oliver was catered for and did everything with humour and efficiency.
Mehmet is very knowledgeable and gave great insight into the history of the places we travelled through and to.
We had a lovely cruise up the river/lake to the mud baths, following this we had a substantial lunch. After this we travelled by minibus to Turtle Beach where we fed turtles and then had a good amount of time on the beach swimming and playing.
Approximately a 10½ hour day out, for 4, with lunch and a free photo, all for less than £100 total.
I can highly recommend the company and Mehmed was fantastic at his job.

We made the Dalyan tour together with our guide Mehmet. It was unforgettable from start to finish! A mix of culture and relaxation, and Mehmet who knows how to tell so much interesting stuff, made the trip so fascinating. Tired but satisfied we returned. One of the best excursions we made so far.

We went on the Saklikent Gorge, Tlos and Yaka Village with Mehmet. The trip was excellent from start to finish, Mehmet was a very knowledgeable tour guide and most entertaining. He studied archeology and history and this is very evident. We were the first group to the Gorge and beat the hoards. We had been advised to take water shoes, but they had some available and you could also buy some which were actually cheaper than the market. If you don’t already know this photography trick let me tell you- set your phone to ‘panorama’ but instead of using it horizontally, turn the phone and take the pano vertically. We got some great photos doing this. Don’t miss the insta friendly cafe set on either side of the river.
The trout farm was an interesting stop, and the fish was the best I have tasted yet.
Tlos was a hi light, Mehmet was a fountain of knowledge on the subject having been involved on the archaeological dig. He also shared local myths and stories giving us a much broader knowledge of Turkeys history and inhabitants.
I couldn’t fault the tour and would certainly use this company again and cannot recommend it enough.

We did two tours with Mehmet as our guide - Saklıkent Gorge and the Dalyan tour. They were both excellent with a nice variety of activities. They're ideal for visitors who are interested in nature as well as culture and history. Mehmet was very informative and entertaining, providing us with loads of trivia and jokes. He made sure we were entertained and that we got to see the amazing turtles by the Iztuzu Beach. We recommend both tours.

Do we need to bring towels or just dry off in the sun? Also how much would be needed for extras? TIA

Hi
We took a small bag with towels and change of clothes ( t shirt shorts ) bit you will easily dry in the sun
Extras - need money for drinks, but are very reasonable priced. If you see any souvenirs, also if you want to try blue crab but again very cheap
There is also a photographer with you for the day. We got about 80 photos for £30 which thought was very reasonable, but there’s no pressure to buy totally up to you.

Coming back in June 20 with few friends please tell me Mehmet is still there?Booked a few trips on my last holiday there. He was such a good guide full of knowledge and an amazing giggle. Brilliant fun! Won't book with anyone else.
