I am a woman of 60 and had been dancing for ten years. Last two years I have been living in Buenos Aires for tango. I went to try him by recommendation of my beginners friends and the cheap price.
He cannot dance at all. He is liked by the newcomers because what he shows them is an american slow dancing with a few leg kicks, and it is easy. Meanwhile tango is a highly technical dance. The proper teachers never start teaching with ganchos and etc,. they start with postura, caminata, abrazo. Buenos Aires is full of young milongueros who are ready to dance with you for very little and you can practice with them. But one needs to take classes with professional teachers.
This guy does not dance tango!!! All his photos are poses, unrealistic in tango.

His website advertises a big discount, but only if you are a woman. By yourself. Beware ladies...
I've taken classes at DNI Tango, La Viruta, and Tango Foundation. All of which were much higher quality and taught me the beautiful dance with passion/emotion but without making me feel like I was getting harassed.
I find it extremely unprofessional to make advances onto your students. I did not come here for that.

We took five or six lessons with Christian whilst we satyed in Buenos Aires for a few weeks in January/February 2016. We are a couple in our late twenties and early thirties, female with some tango experience, male with none...within a matter of lessons we had learned enough to feel like we were dancing... Turns, Cortes, Sandwhiches, Hooks! It was a great experience and we bravely put in into practice and saw in Valentine's Day at La Cathdedral having a go at a milonga. We certainly weren't professional and yes we were still making basic errors with only a few classes but it was a dream realised and Christian's approach was excellent in getting us there. We hope to continue dancing when we return home from our travels.
If you want a friendly learning environment this is the place to go.

If you want to learn to dance the Tango, then you must take lessons from Cristian at Tango Piola. I did just that in November 2015 when I visited Buenos Aires with two friends. Cristian is an excellent teacher and can teach the dance at any level, Patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I was a beginner and he was a delightful teacher! He instilled in me a passion for this most intimate of dances. Memories of a lifetime!!!

Sono stata qualche giorno a Buenos Aires e ho preso lezioni di tango ....ottima posizione vicino alla metro "Palermo", lezioni personalizzate in base al proprio livello, grande disponibilità di orari e professionalità. Consigliatissimo

I traveled to Buenos Aires last November with two friends. The main intent of the trip was to study tango and to experience Buenos Aires tango culture.
My friends and I tried two other tango instructors before we found Christian of Tango Piola. Christian is an excellent teacher with a systematic and logical approach. He is also very personable and funny, making it a joy to learn.
I would highly recommend Tango Piola to anyone who wants to improve their tango and gain a deeper understanding of the dance.

I had private classes with Christian . He is wonderful teacher, very patient and has very special talent for explaining tango techniques. My tango improved dramatically, I have confidence and enjoy my dancing very much now.

A truly excellent teacher, with very well structured lessons and great patience. We recommend Cristian to anyone wanting Argentine tango lessons. We look forward to seeing Cristian again hopefully for a follow up in the not too distant future.

Christian was great! It was our first time trying tango and he was extremely patient with us. We had a great time and would definitely do it again.
