Tuvimos una mala experiencia con Alejandro cuando planteamos que una copa estaba rota al sacarla de la caja. Puso en duda nuestra palabra y no asumió ninguna responsabilidad. Una pena que nada tiene que ver con el valor de la copa sino con la decepción de un cliente de años.

Alejandro offers a remarkable selection of fine wines, and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of their provenance. In some ways, more impressively, is Malambo’s collection of fine whisky, other exquisite spirits and liqueurs,.
He is always happy to listen and offer advice. For example, in my visit, he skilfully compared and contrasted the rugged, peaty, smoky tang of Laphroaig malt whisky from the Isle of Islay, against the much smoother floral flavour of a Glenmorangie from the Highland region of Scotland.
And the in-store delicatessen is pretty inspirational too.

These gent's know everything there is to know about wines and winemaking in Argentina. They stock the shop with an excellent selection of vintages for every type of wine drinker - new to somm.
Highly recommend this place, why not bring 20 bottles back home or stock your Air BnB or hotel with a few during your trip.

We were surprised that this wine shop was rather small. They had some good wines but most were rather expensive. If possible, go to a winery in Argentina for better choices and a lot cheaper.

All in the beautiful neighbourhood of Palermo ... wonderful advice. Loved our sparkler recommendation along with Malambo purchased local olives, a spicy cured meat AND we added our Canadian grand champion Grand Trunk cheese.
- Q-Trip: We pack bubble wrap and tape ... or Malambo
will pack for you.
- Q-Trip: Buy one or two for the suitcase BECAUSE the
duty free will never ever have the top select
choices the local wine shops stock.
Yes you can buy cured meats at home BUT why not something special all vacuum packed from BA for that special Christmas party.

Llegue x la Vinoteca por recomendación y para comprar un regalo ( en búsqueda de un Whisky. Macallan ). X Facebook me contesto su dueño muy rápidamente. Y adecuadamente. La atención personalizada fue muy buena y con su consejo lleve lo buscado. Les recomiendo la casa. El trato. Y espero volver para compras familiares.

Loja pequena mas aconchegante, com imensa variedade de excelentes vinhos argentinos.
O atendimento é excepcional, feito pelo dono, Alejandro e outros funcionários muito atenciosos.

Malambo is the place to visit if you’re looking for wine, deli or spirits in Buenos Aires. Alejandro, the owner, is really friendly and helps you decide what to get if you’re unsure. He has an enormous collection of wine, so there’s something for every budget.

Went there on May 11th. Love this place!!
The owner, Alejandro is a very friendly and passionate person. You can feel his passion toward wines from the conversation with him. We talked over 7 to 8 bottles of wine on the shelf and he knows each one of them very well. Highly fluent in English,
Wines here are mainly from boutique wineries. Great place for people who wants to find a "not so commercial" type of wine, but yes, you can still find Catena Zapata here.
Can't wait to visit Malambo again, for the wines there, for the people there.

Fui a o Malambo por indicação de um amigo e recebi o seguinte conselho: " desapegue dos nomes queridinhos e conhecidos dos vinhos comercias como Catena, Angélica Zapata e etc, escute apenas a opinião do Alerrandro e depois vc me diz", assim como bom amigo q sou escutei seu conselho arrisquei 17 garrafas de vinho que pra mim eram completamente desconhecidos e a cada garrafa que abro agradeço a o Alerrandro!!! Melhor lugar de BA, Vinhos perfeitos. Estou voltando a BA principalmente para visitar a Malambo!
