Wonderful Experiences! We had a great experience with Ampora when we first visited Mendoza in 2009. So when we traveled there again this past January after a cruise around the Horn, we again contacted Ampora to arrange two wine tours one to Lujan and one to the Uco Valley. Both tours were wonderful and the lunches we had were fantastic! Carla made great arrangements for us and otherwsie helped with some restaurant recommendations as well. Our guide for both tours was Maria, who was quite knowledgable and very conversant.
Highly recommend Ampora!

The staff was very helpful and found us a solution on a Sunday afternoon of a long weekend. Our guide was super-friendly and knowledgeable.
We visited three quite different wineries, which gave us a good idea of the different producers in the area. Finally, lunch was delicious, with plenty of wine.

We took two wine tours with Ampora during our stay in Mendoza - both were great. I thought the variety of wineries (small family operation to major distributor) was very good, The individual tours were long enough to be interesting but not so long as to wear out your attention. Tastings were a nice variety. Our tour guides were both very knowledgeable not just about wine but about the region's history, geography and climate. We were staying at Casa Glebinias which is just outside the city of Mendoza but because it is on the way to the Lujan de Cuyo area, the tour driver picked us up at the resort. Both tours ended with a relaxing multi-course lunch and wine pairing at one of the wineries. If you only have time for one tour I would recommend the Lujan de Cuyo one over Uco Valley only because it is less driving so you get to see more wineries.

We purposely did a side trip to Mendoza to do some wine tours. I chose Ampora and am very happy with the results. We did two tours with them. Our first guide was Maria and she was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable about the wineries that we visited and the wines that they make. Finished that tour with a great meal at Martino Winery. Our second tour was with Denise. Again another great person to spend a day with as her knowledge of wines is amazing. We finished our tour with the most amazing meal ever at Monteviejo Winery. This is a high end tour company that only two of were in the tour. The meals were great and their choice of wineries were perfect as it showed the differences in wine making and grape planting between different wineries. Carla the owner was in constant communication from the time we booked until the end. Make sure you have WhatsApp and she will even text you. I cannot end this review without mentioning our safe and courteous driver Claudio. Thank you again for a great visit to Mendoza.

Did two wine tours with Ampora, and both were excellent. Impressed with help and efficiency of wine shipping for us, hours open and information provided. Ezequiel was a great guide, not only for his wine knowledge but in speaking openly and informatively about Argentina. Florencea was helpful as picked up photography tips from her. The wineries were well done, they gave a lot of information I wanted to know about and I got to see things I've only read about. We have a lot to learn in Canada about giving better winery tours at our country's wineries. Both meals we had were beyone expectations.

Great tours.. The guides were excellent, and the vineyard people were very friendly and instructive. Well worth it.

Celui fait plus de 10 ans que chaque année j’adore venir à Mendoza et immanquablement il se doit de consacrer une journée à la visite de wineries avec Ampora car c’est toujours super autant le choix des endroits, la guide, et toujours des gens charmants et en petit comité

Our experience with Ampora Wines began here on trip advisor and did not disappoint!! There are many companies to chose from and so many wineries to visit that it can be overwhelming to figure it out but Ampora will take care of you! They chose a great selection of different wineries we would visit from small boutique to a bit larger vineyards but all with high quality wine and very nice to see different operations. Lunches were delicious multi course meals.
From the very beginning communication with Carla, to the personable and knowledgeable guides, wonderfully safe drivers, to the boutique and varied wineries chosen, to the airport pick up and to helping locate my backpack left at our lunch place - Ampora Wines is a first class operation. Customer service and satisfaction is important to them and from beginning to end and you feel it. Would highly recommend them!

Carla and her team are EXCEPTIONAL. We did 3 days worth of tours with them throughout Mendoza. They arranged for our specific tastes, one day a bubbles tour, another we spent some time at Termas Cachueta after wine tasting. Each day was beautifully planned and executed. All of this and they shipped my wine back for me. This is the company to use.

What can I say about Ampora?! Not enough. Carla & Kai went above and beyond for our group to make sure we were well taken care of -- including arranging our airport transfers, making some local phone calls for us AND most importantly, helping arrange for someone to come give us Covid tests in our home so we could return to the US. BUT, LET'S TALK ABOUT THE WINE. We loved the family run wineries we were introduced to. Obviously, we had our favorites, but each day was jam packed with delicious food & wine. The Chandon Sweeties experience was all unanimous favorite & if you can convince them to do a Bubbles Day as we did -- it was so fun! Multi course lunches with pairings and beautiful scenery. We would have been lost without Ampora. MUCHAS GRACIAS!
