‪Hicimos el paseo Pinguinera. TODO excelente, los guias son excelentes en idioma español y otros. El servicio brindado es de primera, respetando los tiempos y formas de los pinguinos, te permiten hacer un trabajo fotografico de primera, la explicación es adecuada tanto como para turistas clasicos como para entendidos. Todo bien‬

‪Der 1stündige Besuch der Insel war sehr schön, windstill und tolle Fotos. Aber… die Klimaanlage des grünen Buses ist anscheinend seit 2019 defekt, morgens beschlagene Scheiben, nachmittags eiseskälte. Die beiden weiblichen Guides waren schlecht, ich bin in der Gruppe von comandante „ok“ gelandet, ich kam mir vor wie in der Schule oder auf dem Kasernenhof, ganz schlechter Umgangston. Der Besuch im Museum war wiederum toll, die Führung war erstklassig‬

‪Fizemos o passeio de Caminhada com Pinguins e foi muito muito bom, valeu demais! Experiência imperdível! Fomos de ônibus até a estância Harberton, lá somos divididos em 2 grupos , um vai para a ilha Martillo de barco, realizar o passeio em meio as pinguins e o outro grupo aguarda em terra na cafeteria, que serve doces muito bons, e faz um mini tour na estância. Depois os 2 grupos se reunem novamente e vão a um museu logo ao lado. Após o tour do museu, retornamos de ônibus para o porto.‬

‪A caminhada com os pinguins na isla Martillo é uma experiência que vou guardar para o resto da vida. Muita emoção, muitos pinguins em seu ambiente natural. O passeio foi ótimo e a guia excelente.‬

‪Forget Walk Like An Egyptian, Walk With A Penguin‬

‪Great tour. Took the 7am trip and had great weather. Left time to go hike the glacier behind our Airbnb. The event is 6.5 hours long with a 90 minute drive to the location which sounds long but allows for some beautiful scenery along the way. After splitting our group into two, our group spent about an hour in the small museum first and then flipped with the other group to walk with the penguins. You spend about an hour in the breeding grounds, and they are at your feet. Make sure you bring warm clothes suitable for wind. Also, book direct with the provider at piratour.net as far as in advance as you can. We tried booking 3 months out and they were already booked but got on a waiting list and received a notification 4 weeks out that spots opened up. You probably won't walk up to the tour window and get a slot. Not sure if they book options with the cruise lines either as we flew in on our own.‬

‪Hard to book by email but 100% worth it when it worked out!‬

‪This was the most difficult tour to book in advance based on Pira Tour emailing me back and forth, BUT it was our favorite tour of a 2 week trip across souther Patagonia. Pira Tour has the ONLY boat with access to Isla Martillo to see the Gentoo Penguin Colony. Other boats can pull up to the island but won't let people off. With other boats, you would be lucky to see one or two Gentoo Penguins. With Pira Tour, you can see Gentoo and Magellanic Penguin colonies PLUS the chance to see one or more King Penguins.‬

‪Fuimos en principios de septiembre, nos comentaron que ya no iba a nevar pero nevo 2 días de corridos por ende para realizar esta excursion es mejor NO dejarla para el final ya que la cancelan por mal clima. Hay 2 tipos de navegación catamaran (con más capacidad de transporta pasajeros) y el yate (envarcacion más pequeña pero se acerca más al faro) nosotros optamos por la del yate con la empresa PIRATUR, con 2 días de anticipación porque al ser una envarcacion más pequeña tiene solo capacidad para 26 personas aprox. Mientras que el catamaran tiene capacidad para 200 pers. Aprox. La excursión del yate tiene una duración de 4hs y tienen 2 horarios por la mañana o por la tarde e incluye una pequeña caminata y algo caliente para tomar (té, café o chocolatada). Experiencia obligatoria definitivamente.‬
