White water rafting was amazing. The guides were great. Outstanding family outing...an adventure our entire family enjoyed.

Our family booked beginner surf lessons and the mangrove kayaking experience. Both were a ton of fun. The guides were friendly (learned everyone’s name) and informative (taught us many things about the area). Highly recommend!

This was THE best experience I've ever had! I was on the white water rafting tour with Louis and Rony, and they were amazing. They were so engaging, safe, and fun! Not only did we go through countless rapids, we also stopped at a beautiful waterfall where we could swim and had a snack. The snack was prepared by Louis on the bottom of the raft and was 100% natural (we used banana leaves as plates and avocado shells as bowls). It was truly a fantastic experience.

This was THE highlight of our visit to Costa Rica. Louis, Matteo, and Ronny were excellent guides. We learned so much about the flora and fauna of the area as well as having an exciting time river rafting. Stopped to swim several times and have a small lunch at a waterfall. Louis created some fun drama each time we approached rapids "oh no! Oh no! We can do it!" ¡Tan divertido!. On the van ride to the drop-in, we stopped briefly for drinks, coffee, and empenadas for purchase. The host sliced and served complimentary star fruit right from his yard.
Worth repeating: This was the best part of our trip so much so that we are planning our next trip to Costa Rica to include surf lessons with Dominical Adventures!

My husband and I went on a white water rafting tour it it was AMAZING. Our tour guide was so friendly and informative, we got to learn a bunch about this beautiful country on our way to the river. I would recommend these tours to everyone!

My family did a rafting tour and we had 2 children age 10 and 7. They did an amazing job of teaching us about the local plants and creatures we encountered. Our family was treated like we were on a private tour even though we did not book one. I felt like they tailored the trip to what our girls enjoyed. My girls are very adventurous so we hit all the rapids possible as fast as we could paddle. However, it was possible to go at a slower more reserved pace and I have no doubt the ride would’ve been so if we had wanted it.
I saw tours by other companies cramming 12+ people into one raft with a single tour guide after getting off a bus which was packed. So there are other tour companies offering the same rafting tour as this isn’t the only place to go. However, if you want a personal tour crafted for you and your family then I highly recommend this company.

The guides (ours were Ronnie and Luis) for Dominican Adventures rafting trip are stellar! They go above and beyond to provide more than just a rafting experience, pointing out wildlife, teak plantations, flora and plants. Our group would definitely recommend and do this experience again.

We had an amazing time rafting today, highly recommend. Brian and Ronnie were great guides, funny and knowledgeable about the area and environment.

I went white water rafting on the 25th January, I had the most amazing time. The team consisting of Luis, Ronnie and the driver (apologies I can’t remember his name) were fantastic. The trip was really well organised, easy to understand safety briefing and the trip was great fun. Luis is lovely, knowledgable about the area, plants, birds the list goes on. I can’t recommend this company highly enough. If you are thinking of going white water rafting then choose this company.

can a 5 year old go rafting?

We do take kids this age but it all depends on the kids capabilities and water levels. The option for this age would be the Savegre River.

Hi, we are a group of 10 (all family from 10 to 70) and are all very agile/nimble and we are interested in your river rafting adventure. We are staying at Buena Vista Resort and we had read about your tours on Trip Advisor and are interested in a trip on Nov 26 or 27, 2015.
We don't know the options for "length of time or proportion of the day needed." Do you have group rates and a recommendation with one of your exceptional guides?
We'd need transportation from the resort and back (unless the resort has a shuttle - we are not aware of how this resort handles transportation and maybe you know).
