As a total novice, I can only tell you that the equipment was clean and in great shape, the instructors were fantastic and the price was just right.

Our group surfing lesson with Gonzalo, Alfredo and Ronny was fantastic. The 2 teens in our party were excited enough to do an intermediate session as well. I've done a previous lesson and this was by far the better experience - the on-beach instruction was great. Having 1 instructor for 2 would-be surfers made for a great ratio.

Had such a great experience surfing and getting great instruction here from Gonzalo. He was a great teacher, definitely leveled me up. Kaitlin, Ana and the whole team are great. Highly recommended.

We took lessons as a family! The instructors were friendly and made us feel comfortable. I wish I could remember all their names- Delan, Alfredo & “Head Instructor” :) Our 10 year old son absolutely found a new hobby and loved the Head Instructor. He was very knowledgeable, he knew how to adapt his instructions and he was attuned to each of us. Our 4 year old wants to see Delan again too. It was a great place and friendly staff. Overall it was a Great experience! Thank you! We will use them again when we are back. -The Mitchell Family

My daughter took two lessons with Gonzalo and had fantastic time. She had a beginner and then moved onto intermediate. She has fallen in love with surfing and Dominical.

Ich war schon in einigen Surfschulen, aber die Costa Rica Surf School war die aller beste. Gonzalo und auch die anderen Surflehrer nehmen sich sehr Zeit für den einzelnen Schüler und erklären alles sehr verständlich. Sie motivieren einen sehr und man sieht sehr schnell Fortschritte. Der Spass steht an erster Stelle.

We are very happy to hear that in all your classes you have taken you got the most out of your time surfing with us. We always strive to make surfing fun and also make sure people are learning the skills they need to surf on their own! We hope you back out in the water in Dominical in the future!

J'ai suivi plusieurs cours de surf avec eux et loué un surf quelque fois.
L'instructeur que j'ai eu est vraiment bon et très attentionné. Il prend le temps de répondre à toutes mes questions et me donner des conseils sur les condition de surf et spot de surf dans les allentour. Le personnel du surf shop est toujours très sympathique. Merci Costa Rica Surf Camp

Top Surfschule für Einsteiger! Ich war das erste mal mit Guide Surfen und was soll ich sagen, Gonzalo hat mir so viele Tipps gegeben, wie ich es am schnellsten und einfachsten schaffe, zumindest jede zweite Welle zu surfen. Sehr ruhig und mit einer super Ausdauer hat mir Gonzalo immer wieder weiter Kniffe gezeigt und so hatte ich 2 super Stunden mit etlichen gesurften Wellen! Auch die Dame im Office war unglaublich nett und hat meiner Frau noch Stuhl und Schirm mit an den Strand gegeben, damit sie mir entspannt zuschauen kann! Cooler Laden, zu dem ich auf jeden Fall wieder gehen würde. Und das ganze All-in für 50$. Absolut Fair! Und Dominical ist zum üben auch ein super Plätzchen! ;-)

I took two intermediate surf lessons with Gonzalo. Cesar (the owner) drove us to Dominicalita where the conditions were suitable to my skill level. Gonzalo carefully chose a board based by talking to me about my prior experience and how I have been surfing elsewhere. Once at the beach, he gave me a tons of tips about making a plan, how to paddle out, and work with the given conditions. We reviewed some basic technique and paddled out into the sea. I was non-stop surfing, and every surf I did, Gnzalo had analytical feedback, which I could take in to try differently for the next surf. I got a lot out of these two lessons. He encouraged me a lot to work harder than I normally do, which I appreciate it a lot.
After the lesson, sweet pineapples were offered, which tasted sooo good after being in the water for a bit.
The camp had variety of boards and Kaitlin and Cesar were friendly.
I would come back and take their lessons again.
