La journée fut un rêve. L'organisation est tout simplement incroyable...rien n'est laissé au hasard et ce de l'arrivée au centre de plongée jusqu'au retour. C'est une entreprise très professionnelle. Les plongées se font avec beaucoup de sécurité. Le temps était gris voir pluvieux par moment, mais les plongées étaient extraordinaires avec une belle vivibilité. Nous avons vu tellement de choses (Requins par dizaines, tortues, raies, murraines, nombreuses espèces de poissons en quantité incroyable, écrevisse arlequin...). Isla Cano est vraiment une merveille.

We had a personal snorkeling experience with Ericka C! She was knowledgeable about the marine life and made sure to navigate to areas where we could view beautiful varieties of sea turtles, sharks and other species allowing us to snorkel until we had our fill. The entire staff was professional, organized, fun and clearly put safety first with making sure the experience was perfect! Highly recommend putting this on your list if you visit Costa Rica!

My girlfriend and I did the first two dives required for the Open Water Certificate with Costa Rica Dive and Surf and we really enjoyed the day. Cano Island is a great dive site and we had the chance to enjoy the dive while completing our skills. The services provided were great and our instructor Ian was super professional and helpfully. We had a great time and we highly recommend this company.

I don't give 5 Stars often but when I do I feel like it was totally earned! I've been diving for 45 years all over the world and this was one of the best experiences anywhere.
At 6:40am, we were welcomed at the door by a smily greeter who helped check us in. They had tunes going and a set of coffee cups with our names under them. Juice, coffee and fresh banana bread. We met David (our dive leader) and he sourced our equipment which was all in good shape. There were at least 40 ppl checking in to 3 excursions so it was a bit hectic. In fact my only minor knock on the day is it took maybe 90mins to get on our way.
Once we were in the boat Willy laid out the safety orientation talk. He was clear, concise and emphasized the need for safety and to have a good time.
A word about the crew, they were like a well oiled machine. These guys really seemed to love what they do and sharing this amazing experience with others. From seasoned divers to newbies, they made sure everyone was going to have s good (and safe) time. They were relaxed, engaged and very enthusiastic and knowledge about the marine life.
The diving was fantastic, too many critters to list including humpback whales (viewed from the boat), turtles, eels, white tip sharks (including a pregnant momma) lobsters, rays, octopus, countless schools of fish on and on. The water was very warm, I jettisoned my wetsuit on the second dive and the visibility was very good for this part of the pacific.
Our surface time was infront of the ranger station on a beach that was out of this world.
The second dive was also great. Lunch was hearty burritos and fresh fruit. Exhausted but happy, we all crashed for the 90ish min cruise back to Uvita.
Thanks guys, we will be back and I really appreciate your efforts to make today a fantastic experience.

I had an amazing dive with my instructor who was there for me every step of the way. Although I was sick on the boat journey he still encouraged me to dive if I was feeling up to it and I was glad I did. I got to see white tip sharks, turtles, lots of fish and the corals! He was brilliant and the whole crew made sure we got to have the best experience from start to finish.
Everyone made me feel so much better and looked after me so well - my dive instructor, the crew on the boat, the other passengers, the station ranger!!
It is true that I have never met nicer people than those in Costa Rica and would 100% recommend CR dive and surf for your diving experience here in Costa Rica.

This was my third time scuba diving with Costa Rica Dive and Surf. The team is amazing. Super friendly and super knowledgeable. We saw a mother whale and baby between dives and many of the bucket list marine life sightings during the dives. We dove with Lucy who I believe has an encyclopedia in her head regarding marine life. The boat captain was super safe and the guys rigging the scuba gear could not have been better. There are a lot of pieces of equipment necessary for diving to the sea floor and these guys keep it ready for you. I can’t wait to take another trip with them.

Took 5 surf lessons with Oscar, very detailed explanation with a lot of support and encouragement during the lessons. Definitely recommend it!

Did an Isle Cano scuba two tank dive with them and had an amazing time. All of their equipment was top notch and our guide was super friendly. The sealife was amazing. Definitely recommend the isle cano trip and Dive and Surf for your guides. As fairly new divers, they were great at helping us have confidence and adjusting the trip to the skills of the group.

I am pretty new at diving and I went 2 times with this group!! They made you feel safe and you never felt out of Place. The crew was amazing!! I saw so many things on this one!!! One of my fav things i have done on this trip !!!

The other answers were great and we also saw some great sea life. We did not travel with our dive gear so I would also like to add that you may want to wear a wet suit. Not that the water is cold but they have these little jellyfish that can sting. I also have a particularly small foot so I had to wear booties with their flippers. We also got to land on the island and have some time there to relax before heading back. One last thought, my husband gets sea sick so he took Dramamine as well. It was great fun and we really enjoyed it.

Hello! I have been trying to call Sirna Ranger Station in order to book a overnight stay but no one picks up. Can anyone tell me if this is possible to do? Or do I have to book through a travel agency/company?
