Simply put, they are the best! Knowledgeable, safe, and fun. They will not only teach you to surf, they will help you fall in love with surfing.
Jeanine (the owner) and all of the instructors are reliable and easy to work with. If you want to learn to surf, they will make it happen, I promise you.
We have surfed with them for 2 years now and we have learned enough to feel confident to try and catch waves on our own.
Furthermore, we hosted a surf and yoga retreat (Jan 2023) and of course we used Dominical WaveRider Surf School for our retreat and all of our participants had a blast and they all rode waves in just 3 lessons.
Don’t hesitate to call them.

Jeanine and her team are excellent. Last year our family hired them for all of our surf lessons and we progressed very quickly. In fact we were so impressed with them that we insisted they run the surf portion of the surf and yoga retreat that we hosted in the area this year. You cannot go wrong with the Dominical Waverider team.

The absolute best people who made me fall in love with surfing!! They go above and beyond with everything they do, and provide the best learning experience! I could not recommend them enough!

A really good team ! Lot of fun, very good advices, coachs are very funny and competent. Jeanine the manager was very kind and easy to contact.

I had my first ever surf lesson with Antoni and it was such a blast. I felt super safe and we were able to work on so much technique. I went into it thinking there is no way I’ll actually get up, but he had me being able to actually get up on the board riding the smaller waves with knowledge about what worked for me and what didn’t. Can’t wait to come back and get another lesson with these guys.

Arial was brillant with our 3 children and we were also so well looked after. Thank you both so so muvh for being brilliant. I highly recommend these guys.

Everyone at waverider was on top of things, and adaptable. A really great team that knows about the conditions and the ocean.

It's the second year I've had Intermediate lessons with Jeanine, Roberto and Arial and they're honestly the best lessons I've had anywhere. There's so much thought put into how to make you feel comfortable and how to progress. I get scared on bigger waves and whenever I felt uncomfortable Roberto would tale me to a smaller spot. Love you guys and miss you so much! Xxxx

I just finished my surf class and I had such a blast! The instructors were fantastic and the vibe is so chill and encouraging. I didn’t know the others in the group much and by the end we were all cheering each other on for each wave! Such a blast and a true pleasure. If you’re looking for a surf class or camp that is both high quality instruction and great fun, this is it!

I signed up for a surf lesson with Jeanine and it was brilliant! We went to Dominicalito beach and the waves were perfect for intermediate level surfers so you could actually catch some green waves :) The instructors gave valuable feedback and we had a quick break with water and fruit. I had so much fun, I signed up for the next day again!

Hi Kim! August is a cooler month, we have sunny days and rainy nights. We are experiencing early mornings partly cloud lately, but that is something new for us. Don't forget to bring lots of sunscreen and I suggest a light rain jacket.
