Very enjoyable afternoon here. Have to say it was just so lovely, well maintained and lovely animals. Very reasonably priced. Lovely outdoor wicker furniture and cafe pizza etc would definitely recommend and wished I discovered before when my older two were younger. Really nice for family gatherings.

Our first time here, it didn't disappoint. Lovely, well kept farm. Great selection of animals, not just the usual farmyard animals, some surprises in there too. A whole day out experience too, lots to do including the bouncy castle, playground and indoor soft play.
Food in the birdhouse cafe was really nice. Staff all over the farm were lovely and friendly too.
We went as a family, aged from 7 all the way up to 63!! and everyone of us equally had a great day.
A farm trip is always part of our summer plans, Clonfert has been by far our favourite.

We visited Clonfert as a family of 3, Our little boy nearly 2 years old we w’rent sure if it would be good for him but it was.
You know it’s a very well run premises when they have 2 car parks and on a Monday both are full up. Very well organised as regards parking and entering the Pet Farm from a safety side of things .
Pricing is very good and reasonable at €17 for family of 3, Pets and enclosures kept extremely well and easy for all kids to see them and adore them. Everything spaced out so don’t have a build of kids/parents looking at the same animal. Very impressive all round with plenty for things for kids to do between seeing the animals with soccer,go-karts,zip lines,swings to mention a few. Would definitely recommend Clonfert Pet Farm to anybody in the area. Well done to all the team young and old .

We were reluctant to visit today because of the weather forecast but we are so glad we braved the showers. Clonfert is the best kept pet farm I've been too. The animal pens were next to perfect and it was a pleasure to see how well cared for they were. There were lots of play areas, lots of shelter from the rain and lots for small children to see and do.
The lady at reception was very welcoming and friendly. We had a coffee and some tasty treats.
It is clear that this business has invested time, money and their hearts into this business. I'm so glad we visited and recommend others to do the same, even in our Irish summer.

Have been here many time with my family. Usually a great day out. But this time was different. We were greeted by a rude uninterested lady at the check in desk. As my wife was talking. She just interrupted. THATS 8 EUROS. as it’s laid out. She didn’t see me. So I jokingly said oh that’s great I must get in for free. There was no humour and responded with a blunt NO. Family friendly place with what seemed like an uninterested lady and the main desk. So first impression of the day got off to a bad start.
Anyway. We went in and played in the bouncy castle all was okay. Seen the animals did all that. Decided to get some food. They had a special of the day. When my wife asked if it was home made. Without stopping the male staff member said ‘No’ and kept it lit. Didn’t look at her, didn’t acknowledge her. Just ‘No’ and kept it lit. With a look of bemusement my wife went up to the counter, the man there apologised but was just as blunt and rude.
We eventually sat down outside and not for a lady over hearing us, she apologised and it was genuine. She answered the questions that were apparently asked and answered. But they were different. She went above and beyond and didn’t charge us for the dinner, which is not what we were looking for. So I went up and ordered my own separately.
The indoor play area smelled terrible. Have a 2 year old. Play centres are a place we go to. But this smelled like feet. It was almost unbearable.
If it wasn’t for the lady who accidentally overheard my wife and I talking about the two lads in the restaurant, we would have had a very disappointing day.

Great place for a party for small kıddıes. We booked for 2 hour slot. Took optıon of balloons provıded. Staff lovely. Highly recommend

Fantastic party venue. Lovely atmosphere and children could play inside and outside and see the animals. Plenty to do for all ages even the baby brothers and sisters.
Food was great quality and plentiful with excellent service from staff especially Sarah who looked after us.
Christmas decorations and atmosphere were fab and there is a gorgeous cafe and craft shop for parents too.
Would highly recommend Clonfert Pet Farm for a party.

Went here for the Halloween special last year and the kids really enjoyed it so we did it again this year and again they really enjoyed it.
Halloween decorations were good and a scary walk through with people dressed up inside to scare you loads of fun.
Funfair at the end is good fun, rides are children rides.
Nice set up for the animals plenty of space and clean.
One thing I would highly recommend is to wear wellies of trainers you don't care about as up the funfair Park it's very mucky.

Perfect for most children and family. Animals, play areas and great restaurant. We loved it and will be back soon. Best farm we've been to.

We went to Clonfert pet farm yesterday. It was a Sunday and when I say it was busy, my god I haven’t been anywhere as busy in a long long time. The car park was jammed, massive queue for the bouncy castle children only getting 3 or 4 minutes on it before staff telling them their time was up. Zip line queue was 15 kids deep. The tiny playgrounds were FULL and the soft play area again was too small to accommodate the amount of people they’d let in for the 13:00-16:00 session. There were a lot of birthday parties, just far too busy for the small little farm that it is. My son enjoyed the go carts which was the only saving grace of the trip. Overall really disappointed. They need to reduce the amount of people they’re booking in for these sessions because it’s completely unenjoyable when it’s that packed.

Is this suitable for 13 yearold

They may be a little old for most of the activities at the farm like bouncy castle, playgrounds, zip lines, go-carts and indoor play would only suit ages up to 9 years. They may enjoy the animals, crazy golf, football pitch.
Is this suitable for younger children-2yrs? Any activities/events especially for the younger age group?

They have a bouncy castle there and there is 2 different play areas outside that has swings and a slide etc and there is an inside play zone

We went there on Sunday and the children had a great time. I just have one question about the wallaby..is he OK? He looked a little unwell ( like miximatosis..sorry about spelling) his eyes didn't seem OK. Thx karen

Hi Karen. Many thanks for your enquiry. I'm assuming your talking about the wallaby in the paddock and not the ones inside. Yes the wallaby has cataracts in his eye, he is blind for the past few years. He is our oldest wallaby but very gentle and loves life. He reason he was in paddock and not with other two is because he knows his way around and where his food and water is kept. The other two will join him in a few weeks when paddock drys up a bit. They're very flexible . . . if you have kids who want to feed animals talk to the guys working there - some of the animals have food beside them and you can give to animals.
Is there any bus route to the farm?

~I'd advise using sat-nav - Google Maps finds it very accurately as "clonfert pet farm"
