Brought my 5 year old here for a swim. Everything was broken and / or filthy. The showers and dressing rooms are a disgrace. We were only 10 mins in the pool when a bouncy castle was inflated in the middle of the pool and we were told the place was booked for a birthday party for the next hour. So 13 quid for a 10 min (very cold) dip. We got out and when I complained i was told we could have stayed in and just swim around it. If I could rate this place lower I would. Awful. Avoid at all costs.

Very hard to find as website gives gps for the Dublin venue. Had to type in station road and we came to it. Very badly signed as we didn't know where the entrance was when we parked. When we got in the alarm went off and nearly blew the head off me and I had to leave until another staff member arrived to work and she turned off alarm. No apologies and not even a Euro off for the time in checking in and paying! Even though I was paying in for NINE guests! So we didn't get to start skating till 4.20! When we got upstairs there wasn't a window open and the heat was awful! To make it worse one of the staff was honking of stale B.O and with no air in the place I thought I was gonna pass out with the heat and the smell! There's 4 Aircon units above but they don't seam to b working! I opened one window at the back and a lovely bit of air was coming through but the other window's handle was broken right off so this one couldn't be open! Lack of rails for beginner skaters and just as you take off there's a wall with no bannister to hold on to! ( a bit daunting). There's a few chairs and tables around the far side of the rink but no lockers to put your handbag in and yet while you'll skating you can't see your handbag! And there's a step you've to try and manovere down to ( again.. no rail to hold on to!) to get to these tables!
So when you finally get the boots on ( which most of us had our own). Your given the gloves to wear to protect your hands. These were smelly before we even put them on! And by the time we finished skating they were even more smelly! ( def don't get washed after each use! If ever washed? )
On the plus side... the kids loved it and the tunes were good! But my eldest daughter couldn't do spins as the floor is uneven! And wheels get stuck in the grooves! She can do spins at home on our own floors! I'd go back again if they sort out the Aircon. The heat was unbearable!

Ещё один новый опыт досуг - катание на роликах пройден. Хотелось бы отметить минусы и дать советы: тяжело найти это место - мало показателей направления и рекламных щитов, мы блуждали пока нашли. Адрес в GPS не точный, так как мы не доехали др места по навигатору. Во вторых- плохо работает вентиляция, очень душно и спёртый воздух стоит в помещении. Что то наподобие бара присутствует , но кофе выпить не получится тем кто не катается и ждёт. Была удивлена увидев бассейн, как-то не кинулось в глаза информация об этом на сайте. Если бы знала заранее, то с удовольствием отправилась бы поплавать с ребёнком, пока муж и другой ребёнок катались на роликах. Понравился ведущий и смотрящий, он хорошо выполняет свою работу, особенно помогает тем, кто плохо стоит на роликах- Молодец! Жалко, что не знала об этом центре получше, так как возможно провели бы больше времени там ( катание на роликах, бассейн), после чего скорее всего отправились бы пообедать с семьёй в каре нибудь заведение рядом люди и город захотелось бы посмотреть. Непродуманна инфраструктура, соответсвенно деньги уплывают.

A nice place to relax but the Jacuzzi was cold as well the whole swimming pool area, the sauna in the ladies` changing room was not even hot, the walls could use a lick of paint, the place should be much warmer, especially the changing rooms.

Spin from the Longmile road in Dublin has now opened a second venue in Newbridge near the train station in the old Jacqui Skellys Gym.
On arrival the venue has a car park just to the right of the entrance. The new roller disco is located on the first floor. First impressions are its a reasonable size but the floor is not huge, and its a bit bumpy in places. Maybe just as its new and will settle down later on after a few uses. Kid loved it so I'm sure we will be back again and again but at least we don't have the 40K drive to Dublin now...
