A really good course, part cliff top, but mainly parkland. Some interesting holes and the greens were in fabulous condition. We always receive a very warm welcome when we play here.

Highly recommend!
Our first visit, and we were made to feel really welcome. The Sunday Carvery lunch was one of the best I’ve had, and the chefs who served us were passionate about explaining dishes and flavours.

Most our usual venues were fully booked so made a chance call and Piotr said they were busy but could squeeze two in at 1.45. Wow what a great experience. We are not members but were made to feel really welcome. Setting was idealic and the carvery just amazing , with wonderful choices, wonderful service and amongst the best Sunday lunch experiences I have had. The only down side is this was the last carvery until end of summer but thoroughly recommend for food or drinks.

4 friends of medium ability visited on a beautiful Summer’s day, which saw the course at its best. The Cub photos show a unique environment for a golf course but can’t indicate the excellent quality of the greens and surrounds. We enjoyed a wonderful day and appreciated the restaurant afterwards - nothing outstanding but good quality, good value food. This was a day we will all remember very happily.

Sunday carvery a week last sunday, excellent food, nice and tasty and plenty of it. Also HOT, not like warm like a lot of places.
Good staff, lovely setting, proper tablecloths.
Following Sunday plated food choice off two menus
Honestly it has to be tried, just can’t fault it.

We have had several very enjoyable Sunday lunches this year at the golf club where my husband is a member. We always book well in advance as they are always busy. There is usually a choice of two roast meats, roast potatoes, three or four veg and all the trimmings. There are also a choice of starters, an alternative vegetarian main and a fish one and then about five desserts. The service is polite and friendly. There is also a lovely view of the putting green and golf course from the big windows. Would recommend going for a delicious Sunday lunch.

Amazing venue for birthday celebration and also Sunday lunch carvery superb. The venue itself is stunning and plenty of car parking space. The staff work hard to make an event really special.
They will always try their best to accommodate any request. I have been there before with my Pilates group and they will screen off the event for complete privacy if required as obviously often busy with the golfing section. Would highly recommend

Really friendly place. Golf course well laid out and interesting golf holes. In good condition, which is where it positions itself. Great views. It is for me a parkland course with great views.
What I really want to say is that we had an issue. I raised it with the staff and they dealt with it really well, quickly and fairly. This deserves recognition and appreciation.

My aunt, Husband and myself had a wonderful Sunday Lunch. The food was amazing, Excellent service and all the staff were brilliant. I would recommend this place everyone, even though we don't play golf :)

Absolutely appalling, the food was just so abysmal and it was inedible. Even the staff were upset but asked that we do not tell the chef because they do not want to upset him. I can’t even believe a chef would serve food like that it was so disgusting. I have had two restaurants and I still have a catering business and I would fire anyone that served food like that in my establishments. Shame on you ‘chef!’
How you can be that bad a chef and have a job is so very worrying! What a waste of money; however, Dawn out waitress was just incredible, as was Peter, the Maître D.
My squid was absolutely over cooked and was so chewy I didn’t even attempt to eat it. It had been deep fried (sheer laziness) and the butter was in little foil wrapped portions. Cutlery was unpolished. Our wine glasses we’re not changed to red wine glasses after ordering a bottle of red. I asked for my food to be served separately but it still came out with veg underneath the meat. The potatoes were not homemade they were similar to a frozen substitute and the Yorkshire puddings were limp and over cooked. Thank you to the over stressed staff for being so understanding; I cannot image how awful it must be to have to serve food of such poor quality to their customers. I overheard several other tables complaining, no surprise there. Truly horrendous!!!!!!!!!!
