We have visited lots of contemporary galleries and this one had a great feel. We were warmly welcomed and there was a good range of fine art, ceramics and sculpture on display. We'll definitely keep in touch.

A spacious interior in which to take your time and study the paintings on sale. Some original art works by local artists on show using new mediums with spectacular success. If you are in Saffron Walden and enjoy art pay it a visit.

Impressive range of artwork; including intriguing bronzes of dogs. Work is well presented with prices to suit most pockets.

This gallery displays an eclectic selection of artwork, all beautifully displayed and has something to everyone to enjoy. And while some art galleries can be intimidating, the owners are friendly and unpretentious but are not intrusive. I'd highly recommend a visit.

I had the pleasure of visiting this gallery in October for the first time. It is in a superb position on the walking trail around this beautiful town. I felt very welcome and at ease amongst the superb works on display. Many window shoppers are hesitant about entering galleries; feeling that they may be under some sort of pressure. Not in this gallery! The staff are extremely welcoming and happy to give of their time to discuss the displays and the work is amongst the most interesting and innovative I found in my visit to the area of Essex.

Formerly a building dealing in gaming machines; this venue was completely overhauled many months back and turned into a small but lovely gallery for an eclectic mix of art. Always a pleasure to visit or pass by when on foot or queuing in the traffic. The staff seem to get the balance right.

We came across the Saffron Walden Gallery recently when one of the artists showing there - Gail de Cordoba - invited us to a viewing. What a find. There is excellent artwork here, chosen to suit all tastes and it is beautifully displayed. Best of all, the staff team are welcoming and friendly without being intrusive. It is centrally located in Saffron Walden and there is parking nearby. Having added ourselves to their mailing list, we were delighted to be invited to the Cambridge Art Fair in the Guildhall recently and even more delighted to be able to meet and talk to Gail in person. It is well worth a visit.

It was a real discovery to come across The Saffron Walden Art gallery. I went there for a private viewing and didn't expect to find such a classy gallery in Saffron Walden. By far it beats most of the art galleries I have see in the area, including most in Cambridge. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, the gallery quite spacious and well designed, and the art on the walls was a notch above what you usually find at many other art galleries. Make a point to visit next time you are in the area!

Great location in Saffron Walden, spacious and well lit gallery with some fantastic artwork on display. Very helpful staff too, what's not to like!
