Fantastic dairy free chocolate gelato with a lovely crisp cone. Nice breakfast tea served in cups that keeps it nice and hot. And the most important thing in my view was service with a smile 😊👍🏼 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We enjoy popping in to this friendly little venue and feeling spoiled by being served great coffee or a quality chocolate drink. I love the way the chocolate drinks are presented with quality chocolate buttons of your choice to stir into a cup of frothy hot milk and accompanied by a delicious hand made chocolate. A lovely experience that can be revisited often.

There comes a point in your life where you realise that with certain things, quality far exceeds quantity, and chocolate is the perfect example of this.
Today has ignited my love for true, unadulterated, snobbish dark chocolate.
Presented with 3 options for a delicious vegan, single origin, dark hot chocolate; Mexican, Ecuadorian and Brazilian, all bringing their own unique subtle differences. I chose to go for the more savoury and smokey Brazilian dark chocolate.
It was nothing like I'd tasted before in a hot chocolate. It was semi sweet, naturally smokey and simply fantastic. I fell in love with this chocolate.
We went back so my wife could have a mocha (also using the Brazilian chocolate). The lovely lady was able to answer all my random chocolate questions, us she gave us tasters of the different chocolates and the really delicious vegan chocolate ice cream.
I really wanted to also try the 70% Ecuadorian hot chocolate, so I ordered one of those and also a bag on the Brazilian chocolate beans so I could make some at home.
Funnily enough, even though the Ecuadorian chocolate is darker, the hot chocolate tasted a lot smoother and sweeter and a lot less chocolatey. Just a bit more like sweet milk. My wife preferred it but I didn't like it anywhere near as much. (I also felt sick after two hot choccies in a row, but I had to do it, in the name of science!) I'd love to try the Mexican on my next visit to harborough and no doubt buy more Brazilian chocolate!
Anyway, I've rambled enough, but you get the idea. Theres so much to try, discover, explore and treat your senses. I'd 100% recommend.

Dear Mrs Jennery. I remember the day you tried two hot chocolates, very decadent!
Our single origin hot chocolates are truly "finishable" (that's a new word).
Some hot chocolates we have tasted elsewhere are sickly sweet and claggy (also a new word).
We look forward to welcoming you again to Chocolate Lovers on the Square.

During the shutdown I ordered first, second and third prizes for a competition I was running, the chocolates were delivered to the winners swiftly and online ordering was easy. Feedback from the winners was that the chocolates were delicious. I'm looking forward to popping into the shop once they're open again. Thanks for the efficient service guys.

There is always a good variety of handmade chocolate to suit all tastes. They are beautifully presented and the staff offer knowledgeable guidance about the chocolate and flavours.
A great place to get that special gift.

My partner Tom and I are regular customers at Chocolate lovers and we love Kathy and her amazing chocolate. She (and her other staff) are very knowledgeable about what they do and lovely friendly people. Their hot chocolates are the best around and at a reasonable price, and you gt one of their delicious hand made truffles along with it too ( for those vegans or lactose intolerant people out there, they can make hot chocolates Dairy free and also have a selection of vegan truffles and chocolate to buy so no-one gets left out!).
Chocolate Lovers is well worth a visit, whether your a visitor to the town or a local looking for something new to try. A fantastic addition to the town and conveniently located on the square, so no excuse not to indulge! ;)

The Hot Chocolate is amazing, I chose a Brazilian chocolate, dark with a smoky aftertaste that was served with a Rhubarb Crumble truffle. A little piece of heaven and fantastic for one of those 10 minute 'me time' treats.....

I bought a Mothers day gift from this lovely little shop in March. I was really looking forward to shopping for Easter here too. Unfortunately the Covid19 situation meant I could not enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Thankfully I was able to purchase the chocolates online for Easter and everyone was thrilled with them.
I am looking forward to trying one of the much talked about gelatos when they are open again.

Simply fabulous.
Drinks were superb. Hot chocolate made with frothy milk and a choice of chocolate mini buttons to stir in. Black coffee served with choco covered coffee beans on the side.
Staff were so very welcoming and friendly. We absolutely will return and would recommend anyone visits this fantastic independent venue than some of the larger (nasty) chain outlets.

The chocolate ice cream at Cocoa Amore is delicious! It is also gluten free and dairy free. I’ve never had dairy free ice cream that was this good, it’s perfect. Cocoa Amore’s chocolates are also heavenly.
The service was ever so friendly and helpful. Both ladies knew a lot about chocolate and took the time to explain everything for us. Everything about out visit was perfect. We wish we lived closer. ❤️❤️❤️
