Great place to spend a few hours!! For young and old ride the trains and picnic. Donation only no cost.

Lots if fun for young and old. The train rides are great. The park has picnic tables bbq and everything you need to host a party for your little people.

Благодаря этим энтузиастам можно совершить путешествие в детство. Можно покатать детей и покататься самому, при этом абсолютно бесплатно (благотворительные взносы приветствуются но не обязательны). Тут же есть зона для пикника.

This place is so much fun. I came here on a field trip with my preschool class (and there were two other preschool classes here as well), and they LOVED it. The staff here are so friendly, and clearly love what they do. The train rides were free (donation based) and the kids wanted to go over and over. There are washrooms on-site and also a really nice picnic area.
Located in Windsor, it's definitely worth stopping in if you're in the area (or even if you're not), and especially if you love trains. The train rides are only available on pre-scheduled/select days though so make sure they're open before you go. They have a website with their scheduled days open and the times as well, and also offer the option of operating the trains for birthday parties or large groups if you let them know ahead of time and schedule the group.

This is a great day out with the kids or grandkids at a value cost (by donation). These model train enthusiasts run ride on model trains and share the joy of their hobby with everyone. Open to the Public on pre-scheduled days this location is great for picnics or birthdays, a family day out or an drop in activity. Stay all day or just pop in for a ride. Truly hospitable and enjoyable time.

I took the grandchildren, 2 1/2 and 4 1/2 yr olds, We got there shortly after opening, two trains were already in operation. By the time we left, 3 hours later, there were 6 trains running. At times the lineups were quite long but with so many trains going we never had to wait more than 5 minutes to get on again. The children loved it and want to go back again, which we'll do before the end of the season. Who doesn't like a train ride? . The volunteers are train enthusiasts and are warm, friendly and helpful. Admission is by donation. There's a large picnic area if you want to bring a lunch. They have a port-a-potty near the train boarding area, there's also a bathroom with running water, look for it by the entrance gate.

Fun for kids and adults alike. Fabulous job by hobbyists who volunteer their time to build and maintain this train and tracks in a picturesque area hidden away in Windsor, Nova Scotia. Not always open as it is volunteer driven but well worth your effort to get there on operational days. They also will rent out for special occasions. This place is a little gem!!!

Best day ever!!! Entry is by donation, although I think they should charge an admittance fee. Some families of 4 show up, pay only $5 and ride all day.

Our 6 year old son is a huge train fan and has been for most of his young life. We were very excited to take both him and our 8(9 tomorrow) year old daughter to see what all the fuss was about. There were so many trains and railway tracks and crossing that our son was excited from the get go. He spotted the "steamie" chuffing down the tracks and couldn't wait to get on that one. Admission is donation only, so pay what you can afford to. There are even picnic areas throughout the are so you could bring a packed lunch or pick up some food at a nearby restaurant. It was a very warm day so we didn't stay as long as my son wanted to, but we did manage to go on 5-6 train rides, twice on the steamie. We watched them fill it with coal and even had to make a stop at the water tower, which our son loved! It's a lovely little place to take your family, that's for sure. The wait for a ride was no more than 5-10 minutes and as usual our children made lots of friends while waiting. My Dad even came with us and the kids enjoyed going on the trains with Grampie too. We will be going back again I'm sure as it's all I've heard about since we went on Saturday. Great for train fans!

We took 2 grandchildren ages 8 and 9. They loved it (as did the grandparents!)

The ride is about a mile or so. Each ride took around 5 minutes. Some might be longer. There is a website with accurate information including the days they are open.
