A sunrise at the moai platform is a must! We enjoyed the one on one with Green Island tours, they were very flexible. Hubby loves taking photos so they did some crazy things like 4am pickup for star photography and even got access to the moai quarry after hours. I know many people say they can do it in a day or 2, we were there for 5 days and it just wasnt enough time for us. If I was to visit again, I would do 2 or 3 day tours and hire a car for a couple of days to drive ourselves.

Hello guys. Because of demand we have had to streamline our tours for the oceana and we are only offering two day tours with maximum of 16 people in the group. I dont know of any operators who are doing half day tours but generally there are taxi drivers and others waiting at the dock on the day and they can offer you a half day tour of some of the main sites. Hello there I am sorry for the delay. I truly thought I had answered this but it seems that it did not go through. For the oceana marina - We have a tour which is sold as a two day package There is some walking involved but nothing too rigorous... We have a 12-16 seater with a maximum of 16 people going with a good English speaking guide. This is a smaller tour for a more personalized experience. It will be two days of tour covering all the major sites very similar to those we have laid out on our website under the Moai-Stautes Tour, and the the Birdman tour The cost is $240 per person ($120 per day) total for the two days. The tour will require an $80 deposit. This deposit is non refundable should the tenders be unable to make port. Please note that the cost does not include food although opportunities will be available to buy food at reasonable prices along the way. The national park entrance is not included either and costs $60 total for the two days per person. This cost is not paid to us and is payable to the park upon entrance. We will be waiting for you on both days at the docking area when you arrive. We will seek to get you on your tour asap after your arrival. If you arrive earlier we will be there and if you arrive latter we will be there. Just look for a table reading ‘Green Island Tours’ and talk to the coordinator there. They will direct you to your bus Drop off back to the tender on the first day is around 4:30 while drop off on the second day is about 2:30 so as not to cut it too fine with the last tenders…. If you want to book let us know and we will send a paypal link for the deposit of $80 per person *Please note that payment in CASH and in full for the tours will be required at the end the FIRST day of tour. For other 1 day cruises we have We are offering a full day highlights tour for that date for $100 per person if you are interested.... It will not be private but we run only small groups with a maximum of 16 people for a more personalized experience a good, english speaking guide to bring everything to life and help you to understand the tapestry of archaeology, culture, and history thaty makes up the island. The price does not include your national park entrance fee ($60), nor your food for the day which can be picked up at reasonable prices along the way. To secure your tour we would require a $40 deposit which is non-refundable should the tenders be unable to make port (unlikely but possible) to cover costs of set up at my end. Hello There. Sorry I just got this. There is no problem to get transfers we would just pick you up and drop you at the peir instead of your hotel.
