I took a 4 day Uyuni tour with Aventurista in Tupiza.
Although we have agreed to have a certain route during the reservation, it was changed in the middle of the trip by making the guests to vote for a certain route by being unfairly briefed by the driver who obviously has his personal interest in proposing a certain route.
I decided to leave the tour only after the 1st day because of that and only after many stressful phone calls and heated arguments that the agency finally agreed to fully refund my money.
Rather than apologizing for the situation, before handing me the refund, the driver tried to make me promise not to write any bad review on this site so as not to negatively affect their business.
Other observations:
- accomodation: shared cramped room
- car: not clean, a lot of driver's personal stuffs, unfixed broken front window
- many cars from Tupiza with mechanical problems along the way
- food: quality & quantity is generally below standard
Based on this personal experience, I would not recommend booking Uyuni tours from Tupiza. Unforgettably disappointing experience.

We took a 4 day Uyuni tour with Aventurista in Tupiza. The car was uncomfortable, several seat belts were broken, the guide was extremely unprofessional, the agency didn't book hotels for us...My husband had to look for places to sleep because our guide was not capable to find any... We had to insist to get up at 4 am to see the sunrise in Uyuni because our cook didn't want to get up early. Moreover while driving, it was normal for our cook to listen to her music very loud at the same time as car music. Very disrespectful...A real disaster this tour...What a shame to have such bad experience in such beautiful places. I strongly recommend choosing ANOTHER agency!

Our car broke down 3 times during the trip and thus we needed to be in hurry all the way. Hostels were not booked by the agency in advance either and we almost end sleeping in car. Ridiculously one of our group members needed to go and ask for hostels, as driver was too impolite to do it. Terrible experience!!! :(

On a fait un tour de Tupiza a Uyuni en 4 jours avec Dilford (le chauffeur, pas un guide) et la cuisinière Guadalupe (nourriture correcte, mais elle a volé nos cocktails). Dilford à été irrespecteux et menteur avec nous du début à la fin, il a aucune notion de la politesse, ainsi que la cuisinière qui écoute sa musique sur son téléphone sans écouteurs quand on met la notre dans la voiture. Bref, je vous déconseille vivement cette agence.

Un'escursione di un'intera giornata nella regione di Tupiza ci ha fatto scoprire luoghi di straordinaria bellezza, superiore ad ogni aspettativa. Non ci sono solo Uyuni o la Laguna Colorada,in quell'area della Bolivia. Tupiza è un luogo da non perdere!
Aventurista, gestita dalla Signora Beatriz, ci ha assicurato un ottimo servizio. La guida il signor Bernardo, é persona molto competente, disponibile e di compagnia. Consigliamo l'Agenzia Aventurista e il Signor Bernardo a tutti.

Arrivés à Tupiza après 7 jours dans le salar, nous voulions découvrir un peu le coin lors de notre journée de repos. Parmi toutes les agences, nous avions le choix! Après différents échanges, nous avons choisi Aventurista. Aucun regret!
Les tarifs? ceux pratiquer par les autres agences, même nous avions l'opportunité de dépasser largement le créneau horaire. des personnes à l'agence très agréable et serviable. Des vélos bien entretenu avec tout le kit nécessaire si nous avions un soucis, casques...
Perso je recommande. Et après un rapide aperçu il proposait des prix pour le salar qui semblait intéressant également, mais je ne sais pas ce qu'il proposait je vous l'accorde.

Abbiamo prenotato sia il tour. Cavallo che il tour di 4 giorni con ritorno a uyuni con questa Agenzia, ci siamo trovati benissimo , tutti molto gentili, L'autista Felipe era molto preparato e ci spiegava tutto quello che serviva sapere dei punti di interesse.La cuoca era molto gentile è sempre disponibile ad aiutarci nel caso stessimo male con i frequenti mal di testa per l'altura e il cibo era abbondante.

We took the 4 day tours from Tupiza to Uyuni and had a great time ! The landscapes were amazing and the services offered by Aventurista Tour were just as good as those offered by every other agency only cheaper. Our driver Dennis was very nice and the food prepared by our cook were really good. We strongly recomend this agency !

We had 4 fantastic days with good organisation. We did everything that they promised we would do. Andres, the driver, was very punctual, kind and reliable. In these four days we saw a lot of different sides of Bolivian nature, more than just the salt flats. Andres also took us to places where the other guides/tour operators didn't go. So if you have the chance: do it!

Great agency! Very helpfull and accomodating. I did the 5 hr horseback riding in Tupiza, really beautiful with a well trained horse and easy going guide! They also helped me book a bus and plane ticket. Thanks a lot for all the help, made my stay really easy!
