I'm Ismail, a jordanian tourist guide. I was born in Petra, a world wonder and one of the most famous old historical cities in the world. I do guiding and transportation all over my country, and private tours in the heart & hidden gems of Petra. So excited to take you through a historical & cultural experience of Jordan's most fascinating places, and unforgettable memories of the Arabian nabatean's glory in Petra!

Ismail was nothing short of an exceptional tour guild, making our journey through Petra, Wadi Rum, and Amman truly unforgettable. At Petra, his deep knowledge of history and storytelling brought the ancient city to life, revealing hidden gems beyond the Treasury. He was with us in Wadi Rum during the tour through the mesmerizing desert landscape of the north part, ensuring we experienced its stunning beauty and Bedouin culture to the fullest. In Amman, his insights into the city’s vibrant culture and rich history added immense value to our trip. Ismail is a true professional, and his warmth, and attentiveness to every detail made us feel welcomed and cared for like family. Thanks to him we had a rare opportunity to enjoy some authentic Jordanian cuisine also. During conversations (in Whatsapp) with him prior to our arrival, I felt like I could fully rely on his advice to finalize the details of the trip. Always punctual and accommodating, he tailored the experience to suit our interests and needs. At the end of the short 4 day trip we left very inspired and longing to return. Ismail is an outstanding person who truly elevated our Jordanian adventure!

I fully believe that Jordan was my favorite trip ever solely because of Ismail. Obviously Jordan itself is great and I found the country extremely beautiful, a country I've looked forward to visiting, but I did not expect to have such a fantastic experience, and I wouldn't have if it weren't for Ismail. Usually, I don’t consider guides essential when traveling, but not only did I find Ismail indispensable, he completely transformed my experience in Jordan, making it far more meaningful and unforgettable than I could have ever imagined. Within just 10 minutes of speaking with him, it becomes clear that he is exceptional at what he does. His remarkable ability to connect with people is matched only by his profound and extensive knowledge of Jordan and world history, making every conversation both engaging and enlightening. Although I only knew him for four days, I can wholeheartedly say he felt like family. It’s people like him who truly highlight the beauty and kindness in humanity.

I've taken many tours around the world and rarely if ever do you get someone of Ismail’s character, knowledge, courtesy, consideration and flexibility. He was outstanding! He was punctual and flexible.
The communication was clear and concise.
This tour was a tremendous amount of walking because we wanted to cover so much. We felt no pressure of cutting our tour short or rushing to meet a deadline.
Ismails main concern was to show us the most amount and answer any or all questions.
He was supportive of our stops and offered options on all highlights. Incredible guide, seriously! By the end I considered him a family friend and felt I understood the sites, the background and the thinking of all the people thousands of years earlier.
I highly recommend him. I can't highlight how wonderful this gentleman is!

Thanks to his expertise and insightful tour, we discovered the archeological significance of Petra and now appreciate what makes it one of the wonders of the entire world.
Ismail has a gift for compressing ancient history into fascinating stories shared while walking through a cathedral of the past.

Today, my friends and I visited the ancient city of Petra in Jordan. Our guide, Ismail, took us around the historical site and spent the afternoon with us. Ismail is a water engineer by profession, and he introduced us to the rich history and culture of Petra with great knowledge. He is very friendly, patient and had a good sense of humor, making him very engaging. We had an unforgettable day together. Thank you, Ismail. Jordan is a beautiful country, and the warmth and friendliness of its people have left a deep impression on me. I am very grateful, شكراً جزيلاً ！

Our experience touring Petra with Ismail was absolutely incredible! From start to finish, he was knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about sharing the history and beauty of this iconic site. Ismail’s storytelling brought the ancient city to life, making the tour both educational and engaging.
He showed us hidden gems and unique perspectives of Petra that we would have missed on our own. We had a great experience with Ismael. He taught us all about Petra and was very knowledgeable. He had local knowledge so was able to give us good advice on surrounding area (he dropped us off at a good local restaurant after our tour for instance). He taught us about the gods the people worshiped when they were building Petra as well as taught us about the ruling kings of the time. He tailored the tour to our interests which helped make it more interesting for us. He also told us to take the donkeys up to the monastery which would have otherwise been extremely tiring to climb the mountain. Overall we gained a lot of insights of the area which deeply enriched our experience. He also helped take photos of us since he knew all the best vantage points. He expedited the whole process. I really think it is a disservice to go to Petra without a guide since you will miss so much and Ismael is the best at it!

During our trip to Jordan, we had an exceptional experience thanks to Ismail Nas. Petra’s visit, guided by her fascinating explanations of Nabataean history, took on a whole new dimension. The Treasury and the Monastery have truly come to life thanks to its captivating anecdotes.
After Petra, he drove us to the Wadi Rum desert, where we explored spectacular landscapes in a 4x4 before enjoying an unforgettable sunset. Ismail’s impeccable organization and in-depth knowledge of the region made every moment unique.
We highly recommend Ismail for an authentic and memorable discovery of Jordan.

Beginning of December, with my friends, we booked an unforgettable 5-day private trip designed by Ismail and were able to visit the magnificent Petra, Wadi Musa and the incredible Wadi Rum desert.
Ismail took us from/to Amman airport and when we arrived in Jordan he welcomed us with a big smile.
In Petra Ismail gave us extremely interesting explanations about the history but above all he showed us tombs and other extremely interesting places.
For the Wadi Rum desert, Ismail advised us to stay 2 nights in a Camp Bubbles and with him we visited this magnificent and diverse desert.
Myself I am used to traveling and having a private guide, but frankly Ismail made the difference :-)
With his enthusiasm, professionalism, positivity, carrying, he was able to show us an extraordinary Jordan!
A BIG THANK YOU to him!

We are more than grateful and happy for having Ismail as our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the history of his country with everyone. We had a great time visiting every spot he took us, he knows secret places to have great views and unforgettable memories. We were lucky we could visit Petra early in the morning when it was not crowded. We fully recommend you to book Ismail to visit this magic place.

Hi, I’m looking for a full day tour in Petra for November 8. We will be in Wadi Rum, so we will need transportation from there and return. We would like a private tour for 6 people, if possible with a spanish speaking guide, if not, english. Thanks and best regards, Diego

Ismael speaks very good Englih and Arabic of course, not sure about Spanish. Ismael is the best tour guide in Petra, Wadi Rum and beyond all around Jordan, hands down!!

Of course Petra, but there is so, so much more to see!
It will depend on your interests: desert castles, Christian or Islamic religion, archeological sites etc.
Our suggestion: contact Ismail, explain your interest and let him advise you!
