So konnte man feinere Skulpturen bzw. Reliefs schaffen. Kernpunkt ist, neben dem eigentlichen Tempelturm eine Halle, die von 100 Säulen getragen wird.

It's okay okay temple. Big and situated close to matanga hill and nandi. But nothing like Vijaya vittalla or pattabhirama temples.

Achyutaraya temple is a vishnu temple in hampi, near the matanga hill. It is named after the king who instructed the construction of the temple. Currently, no wirship is conducted in the temple. It has beautiful architecture. The complex also has a mandapa, one bazaar in front and a pushkarni. Worth visiting.

When I hiked down from the steep Matanga Hill, the road opens path towards this temple. It feels very off-the-beaten without any other tourists. Immediately, I felt like I am in Indiana Jones discovering a new temple ruin for the first time. Truly stunning!

The complex has some great ruins and photographer's delight. The gopurams / pillars have intricate carvings that one can take great pics! From here, then you can climb to Matanga hill.

This is on a must visit list when you are in Hampi. Though only ruins, it gives you an idea how magnificent it would have been during the actual rule of the King. The temple is elaborate and the bazaar outside is equally big.
You can walk from Virupaksha Temple. There are 2-3 routes to reach here. Better to visit during early morning or late evening hours.

Templo dedicado a Tiruvengalanatha, construido por un oficial en la corte de Achyuta Raya y de ahí el nombre. Bonito aunque prescindible

A temple complex commissioned by King Achyutaraya (who succeeded the throne after Krishnadevaraya) dedicated to Lord Tiruvengalanatha (a manifestation of Lord Vishnu) sits in a valley between Matanga and Gandhamadana Hills.
The access to the complex via the Kodandarama temple was completely blocked off by an overflowing Tungabhadra which had the access road fully submerged to the point that it was just not visible. Hence we took the route climbing up the steps next to the Monolith Nandi statue and then climbing down to the valley.
The views from the top were stunning and the complex seemed very similar to Cambodia’s Angkor Vat. We got caught in a downpour which made the climb down quite slippery and treacherous. But once we reached the complex, it was a beautiful sight to behold just like every other place in Hampi.

There are two ways to reach this temple: you can either take the steps up near Monolithic Bull where you have to step on rocks to reach this temple (15-20 minutes walk), you really need to know where you are going because there is no signage there and it's not easy to figure out where you need to go to reach here. The other option is to take a longer route (about 1.5 - 2kms walk) with less uphill that goes from near Vijaya Vitthal Mandir via King balance.
Unless you have a local person with you, it's not really easy to reach here.
Unlike all the other places to see, this place was not at all crowded, probably because it's difficult to reach so not a part of usual tourist-circuit. The tall unkempt grass around the entire area lent a feeling of eeriness to the place.
Very big temple complex with beautifully preserved carvings and construction. There are three Mandapas, walls of each mandapa are carved with detailed, delicate carvings depicting religious stories and scenes from lives of citizens of Hampi. There is a courtesan's street in front of the temple. It is situated near the base of Matunga hill.
Sort of remote place and best avoided after dusk.

This temple is located near the foothills of Matanga hills. One may easily miss it when going from Sun chariot temple to Matanga hills. The whole temple complex is empty and abandoned now
