Plaza del pueblo de Garachico, muy bonita para pasear y tomar algo... Tiene el nombre por Simón Bolívar que aunque era Venezolano sus antepasados eran de Garachico.

La ville est agréable, un hyper centre que l’on parcoure en peu de temps. Les églises étaient fermées lors de notre passage. Quant à la place principale, elle est agrémentée d’un kiosque et sera immanquablement sur votre chemin de visite.

We have come here each evening for either a pre or post dinner drink
Today we also had lunch
It’s a great square full of locals enjoying the ambience
The tress are in blossom , the sun is shining and the wine perfect
The history in the square and the buildings overlooking the square is just priceless

This is a great place to relax at the end of the day and watch the local families out and enjoying themselves. Beautifully maintained, the plaza is shady with lots of benches and the bar in the centre does an excellent range of drinks and snack type food. Garachico is a beautiful town and this is it’s heart; a really nice place to sit and enjoy life.

Rund um diesen Platz stehen einige wunderbare historische kanarische Bauten aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Vor allem der Komplex des Franziskaner Klosters. Sehr schön ist auch ein weiteres historisches Gebäude in dem ein Luxushotel untergebracht ist.
Auf diesem Platz kann man eine historische Atmosphäre buchstäblich riechen.

C'est le centre du village ambiance zen possibilité de se restaurer ou boire un café face à l'église. Sensation de calme et de vie e très au cœur de ce village

C'est le centre avec un kiosque et la statue de Bolivar (!) un jardinet, et on trouve aussi bien des anciens palais comme celui des comtes de Gomera que le couvent San Francisco et l'église Santa Ana. Il y a toujours du monde et de l'ambiance, quelques musiciens ici et là. Cette année il y avait une imposante crèche de Noel qui dominait deux cotés de la place
Mais nous avons préféré la beauté et la sérénite de la place Juan Gonzales à 100 m de là
Elle fut construite que lors de la reconstruction de la ville après la fameuse éruption fin 18ème. Il parait que le palais de Gomera fut une des rares batisses à échapper en partie à la destruction. Ceci dit le palais ressemble plus à une caserne qu'un palais raffiné !
