If you are someone who needs a lot of hand holding, structure, or looking for an email confirmation then this isn't the place for you. We reserved 4 razors with a phone call and just an agreement that we would be there. We rolled in, signed our lives away, paid for our time and a hefty $1200 deposit, were given a quick overview and left to our own devices... While we waiting, a girl rolled in with a four wheeler missing a fender, she mentioned she lost it on a tree but her friend had brought back the parts. The guy was thankful and polite. Within 15 minutes I had flipped mine on its side. Now that I had scared myself a bit, I was a little more cautious and had a blast storming through the desert for 4 hours. I'm not sure how fast these things are suppose to go but I had mine up around 55 racing up a wash. If you like this sort of thing, this place is a blast. These guys also didn't nit pick the machines about scratches when we brought them back but were pretty candid upfront if we broke something, we were paying to fix it. I may recommend you bring a silver sharpie if you are prone to accidents. Great time, great fun.

I am in awe!
I so appreciate this company! I had made reservations for today, using 3 Groupons for my family. My husband was experiencing weird health symptoms this morning and I am about to take him into urgent care.
I called Josh at San Diego Motorsport. I would expect 100 % that I would lose the value of the Groupons as this cancellation is on shortest notice.
Josh listened and said that it was alright, not to worry and that we can come back another time, they would honor my Groupons. He made sure to tell me that he hopes my husband was OK.
That just blew my mind. They did not have to do this, but it is so appreciated! Josh is the nicest guy! Thank you!!!

I left three messages trying to make a reservation. I've gotten no response and no one answers their phone. I understand you are busy because you released a living social deal, but a call or email back would be nice. Ive rented from this place before and it's a lot of fun but this is horrible customer service. It's definitely not worth the trouble.

I purchased two 4 hour riding certificates thru Groupon. Since I'd never been on an ATV before, I wasn't sure what to expect. Josh, the manager at the Ocotillo site, was informative and helpful in providing basic instructions for a novice like myself. The company even provides riders with helmets, goggles and gloves .My riding companion has ridden dirt bikes for years, so he was well versed and had his own gear. I was assigned to a Honda 250 with semi-automatic clutch, and after a bit of work on my part to figure out the correct pressure on the throttle, I was off. Ocotillo Wells is a huge OHV area in San Diego County and even with a four hour ride, we barely scratched the surface. I loved it so much that I bought some more certificates from Groupon and will be going back again next month!
