We wanted to watch a movie that was either in OC or LA and we decided to watch it at this theater. Yes, it is not a megaplex with reclining seats, it's an older establishment. I was pleasantly surprised on how clean the theater was and pleasant atmosphere. The seats are high back and really not uncomfortable. We would go back again, even though it is a 30 minute drive for us.

If you don't mind sitting in old, disgusting, uncomfortable seats for your theatrical experience, then you certainly won't mind the tiny theater and even tinier screen...I think the TV in my living room has a bigger screen. Good luck finding parking within a three block radius....and don't even think about violating parking pass, because cops in this city have nothing better to do than cite you. Also, enjoy the overpriced food at mediocre restaurants.

Not your full-time megaplex, but a smaller enterprise with a good range of selected offerings. Pleasant amenity situated in a central courtyard complex of restaurants and cafes, with all the usual cinema treats available. Good value.

This theater is convenient and reasonably priced, but the seats need to be replaced, padding is all crushed down.

This theater shows the Oscar nominated shorts every year. They are fabulous. It also brings independent films that you would not be able to see at the chain theaters. These theaters are run by a family that actually cares about movies. Yes, it is the business, it is also a passion. It shows in every way.

We love this theater. We feel like we're getting our own personal screening. They show a variety of movies. I'm a big documentary fan and have seen a few shows here. The audiences are more subdued and there isn't a bad seat. It's located in a charming village square where you can hang out before and afterwards. Two thumbs way up!!!

Love Laemmle's Claremont! Close enough and an intimate setting with the latest movies! We ride our bikes and then simply stroll through the fabulous courtyard setting to see the movie!

This cinema in Claremont, CA village is located on an internal courtyard of "village west" in this colorful college town (Pomona, Scripps, Harvey Mudd, Claremont McKenna, Pitzer). It has Met Opera simulcasts, foreign films, art films, as well as some of the regular fare. Comfortable seats, art in the hallway. Good place!

Cute, right in the heart of Claremont's Village West, surrounded by good restaurants. As with the whole art house/indie chain, their concession prices are quite reasonable. The Claremont location shows only a fraction of the indie fair at Laemmle' other locations. They say the locals won't support these films.

This is one of my favorite movie theatre, it's local and not expensive. They have movies from independent producers that you will not see in the big movie chains . And you have the Claremont Village just a few steps away for dinning and shopping.
