There are many places to get a drink in this area but this is far and away the warmest, cleanest and most wonderful. It's funny how KkFiff complained about the lack of a regular food menu. It's a bar, not a gastropub!

We have been there before but since they didn't offer any food menu (besides a daily food special like tripe, chili or brats once in a while), we would usually head to Dillons down the road. Well, we went during a derby girl event and they had a live band and specials. Will go again, but would love better food options.

his is the 2nd time i was there.. first time i was just checking the place out.. i m the type of person that likes to find a great local friendly neighborhood bar.. that means to me.. you sit at that bar and your comfortable, the bartender is smiling and sees to your needs, and the people aren't afraid to chat with you , while you are of course very new in town .
Today, Playoffs, did just that.. Ivette was and is a great bartender. smiling and caring for my needs, the conversation was social and about the town, i m new in town true, but while we had TWC i was able to view council meets of DHS and they always intrigued me.. Because of the many people that show up and spoke up. That to me shows, a lot about a town.
i meet a great guy there, i ll call him Mike..
to say that i needed what i received today at Playoffs is an understatement..
now i have a new friends, and a fantastic bartender, that knows how to make a very , very dry dirty gin martini, with two olives.. Ivette with that great smile.. you made my day.. hugs..
