Excellent park, very clean and well-maintained. I take my grandchildren here and often meet other grandparents who do the same. Also has a pavilion for small parties . No restrooms

Great park for teen boys. My 14 year old son and his friend really enjoyed the many obstacles that they can challenge there physically abilities. I can usually never get them to go to the park anymore. They said that they would gladly go there again when it was time to leave.

My grandchildren love to walk to Castle Park. Rope bridges, wooden structures to climb on, swings (tire & regular), and an area designated for smaller children, all surrounded by a large grassy area. There is also a covered picnic area so bring a lunch and let the kids get some fresh air and run off some energy!

We went here, because we were looking for something fun to do with a 9 year old.. we are staying in Davis, so it was quite a drive to get here. We got to the park, and it's quite literally a neighborhood park for kids... that's it! I can't believe this made it as an attraction on Trip Advisor! Our son had fun though.

Castle Park is a unique park built with the help of Folsom residents several years ago. Tiles mounted at the park include the names and artwork of many of the park builders! The play structures are made of wood, not plastic, and they give the feeling of being at a castle. Our grandson loves to ride the bike trail to Castle Park, where he can play, then have lunch at the picnic tables. A fun place to visit!

Nestled in one of Folsom's premier neighborhoods surrounded by wetlands, old oak trees, white cranes and miles of bike/walking trails, this fun park features a wooden castle playground where children can roam free pretending to be knights in shining armor or damsels in distress, or Princess Leia rescuing Han and Luke yet one more time. Perfect place for a themed birthday party, cub scout activities or a family night activity. Picnic tables on sight.

With the playground built like castle and made of wood instead of the usual metal, it is a perfect place for fun. It is very well maintained and has lots of activity areas obstacle course, swings and ropes.

Best park in Folsom. It has wood and hard plastic rather than a lot of metal so when it gets really hot out the kids don't get burned on things. It was built by the families and appears to be maintained by them as well. Two play areas so the little ones don't get hurt.

Found this park while trying to find something active for my 7 year-old niece to do. What a lovely gem, the playground is made of wood and built like a castle but with some western town features (bank, moustache carvings). There's a separate little kids area and a then a large area with a raised obstacle course (quite high off the ground), slides and swings (even a tire swing), stairs, ropes, monkey bars and some huge tractor tires dug into the ground for kids to jump on and around.
This is one of the few parks where I've seen teenagers scrambling on the ropes alongside the younger kids. There's an area with picnic benches but most seem to be occupied by parents staring at their phones while not paying attention or playing with their children.
Across the street is a biking and hiking trail with a small pond, bridge, loads of frogs and a few egret birds. Huge oaks are scattered about and the whole area makes for a lovely exploration after playing. Hard to believe down the street is one of the busiest shopping areas in Folsom, this place is a respite and a gem!
