Saw a show done by Troy High School theatre program, normally the show is done by adults. Annual show around Halloween time.
Recommend this theatre for an intimate setting, smaller shows and production.
Located across from Fullerton train station. Many restaurants within walking distance.

Plays are amazing, We have seen 5 plays, they were all good. Do not know how they keep doing it so well. Last play we saw was King Kong. The show was fun, silly , and very well done.

I went to see Rocky Horror Picture Show and it was so fun! Real people singing and dancing (not the movie)! They got the audience involved and really had fun on stage, so we also had fun. You could take photos with the Rocky characters afterwards, which my friends and I loved.

We went to see Killer Angels here, the staff was super friendly and play was amazing. I hope they bring the Killer Angels back again.

The Maverick theater is small - general admission seating. No worries - every seat is a great seat. I've seen a number of different productions here - all done exceptionally well. I wouldn't describe this as community theater as it is not - it is much more professional with a limited cast. There is a "bar" inside where you can get a soft drink or beer\wine. Suitable for families and date night - it's just a great time. Looking forward to our next visit !

An entertaining and informative musical revue of the historic comeback of Elvis in 1968 TV Christmas special. Covers his difficult decision to take a bold step against great personal reservations at a crucial point in his declining career. Great musical accompaniment and fast paced uplifting music by the "King". Theater is small and intimate. Recommend reservations. Excellent value.

Very intimate setting for theater. But they put on high quality productions that are worth going to.

The Maverick Theater is an entertaining venue with two small stages. I saw ‘Cyrano de Bergerac’ on the stage that seats 60, so there were no bad seats and it was a great experience to be so close to the stage and performers. The performance was very fast-paced, entertaining and moving. I am not normally into love stories, but ‘Cyrano’ has a compelling plot with a great balance of action and emotion with very creative wordplay. And the way that Nathan Makaryk, in the title role, delivered his lines and performed his swordplay was outstanding. I only had one issue with this performance. One of Cyrano’s primary virtues, if not THE primary virtue, is that he has an incredible wit that enables him to bring biting humor or heartfelt emotion to the spoken and written word on any occasion, so why did Cyrano move out of character to use the f-dud on one occasion?

We are from far away but fortunately we have friends in west-coast places. Out of towners might miss this wonderful local theatre and miss a most wonderful treat. We caught Spam-A-Lot and it was wonderful. If you are close during the pre-Christmas season, give them a call. But call early or they might be sold out.

Our first visit to this little, local theatre across the street from the Fullerton Train Station and we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the troupe's performance of "Spamalot" which we had first seen on the Broadway stage. This performance followed the script to the letter even though on a smaller, intimate scale. We loved it. The theatre is small.and parking is a challenge. Seating is first come first served so it is wise to arrive early for the good seats and parking spots on the street.
