An excellent tour guide to some very small and unique wineries. The tour was very timely, the tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Jerry was an awesome host with a sense of humor right up our alley. The wineries were interesting and we were all novices and learned so much. We ended up buying about 8-9 bottles of wine total from all four we toured and had no problem sending them on the plane as “baggage” for free in the padded shipping box. Highly suggest this tour!

Although we were not able to go on a wine tour with you because of the COVID-19 being implemented you were the only company that called us back and let us know what was going on. We will definitely be coming back to Healdsburg when we are able and we will definitely be calling you for a tour!

Was the highlight of our vacation. Jerry was very knowledgeable and helpful. The wineries we went to were very good. Will definitely book again on our next trip to Sonoma.

What a wonderful way to celebrate my birthday! Jerry was an excellent guide through our wine tastings. We had plenty of time at each winery/vinyard to enjoy the surroundings and the experience (and of course the wine). We will definitely book with them again next time we are in California.

Incredible experience with Wine Country Journeys, in particular with Jerry (guide/owner). He was knowledgeable about the area in general, about the wine in particular, as well as the vineyards we were visiting. He picked out great places with delicious and diverse wines, interesting stories, and thoughtful staff. It was a great experience. They were also really flexible with my small group booking last minute and arranged to have us picked up even though we were further away.

My wife, sister-in-law, and I had a wonderful tour with Jerry and we recommend Wine Country Journeys without hesitation. Jerry was extremely welcoming and he made us all feel at ease as he shared his wine community. It was obvious that he understood and appreciated his community and we felt as if we were being taken to his friends' house. Three of the four wineries were very good--another was okay but the wine was not as much to our liking--but we understand that this is all personal preference. No pressure at all from Jerry or any of the wineries to make purchases, but when we did the process was made very easy. We also greatly appreciated being picked up (and returned) at our Sonoma hotel--a very nice perk.

My husband and I went on a road trip up Highway 1 in California for his 40th birthday and finished our journey in Sonoma County where we had reserved a wine tour with Wine Country Journeys. Amanda was great to work with from the beginning with planning the trip and making our reservation - gathering information about our wine preferences and the purpose of our trip to make it a personalized experience. We were even surprised to receive a custom wine tasting brochure from one of the wineries wishing my husband a happy birthday! And Jerry was the most kind and gracious host. He picked us up and dropped us back off at the H2 Hotel in Healdsburg – it was so nice for us both to be able to enjoy all of the wine tastings without worrying about who would be driving. We visited four small wineries in the area including J. Rickards Winery, Kokomo Winery, Martorana Family Winery and Pedroncelli Winery. Each of the wineries was absolutely stunning, had its unique qualities and of course delicious wine! I have always enjoyed wine, but knew very little about the process of making wine, and my husband has always been more of a beer lover. However, we both came away from this experience learning so much and having such an expanded appreciation for wine and recognition of the love and labor that goes into it. Jerry was such a wealth of knowledge! He took any opportunity he could to make our tour a unique and special experience! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better way to finish off such a memorable trip than with Wine Country Journeys!

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Wine Country Journeys. On previous trips to the San Francisco area, my husband and I have taken guided wine tours with a large group. This experience was SO much more intimate and personal. Our guide, Jerry, was a wealth of knowledge about the locations we visited (which were all small and family owned). The winery tours included a behind-the-scenes look at how the wine is made, and the tastings were very generous. I took home two bottles and would have bought much more if not for lack of room in my suitcase! Already planning our return trip and can't wait for my next opportunity to book a wine tour through Wine Country Journeys.

We took this tour with Jerry for a second time in October and my memory certainly didnt fail me from my previous trip...it was great! Jerry picked us up in San Fran which really helped us eliminate a lot of cost on our short weekend in the area. The wineries we visited during the day had a local feel and we even got to taste different wines in the process of fermentation which was a really unique experience! It was such a pleasure spending the day with Jerry and the rest of our group.
