Played with my teenage kids on Father’s Day! Brilliant day, a course to suit all skill levels, and the course has fantastic scenery. Really friendly staff.

This place was a complete joke the rudest managment and employees i have ever delt with at a golf course. The decimate against handicapped people even when they know of the handicap before hand. And they still try to force the handicapped person to move faster!!! While the players behind us didnt mind waiting cuz we all were having a good time golfing and people with injuries should be allowed to enjoy it as much as the next person concidering they pay the same price as those other players. All in all the worst golfing experience i have ever had i would advise to stay away from this course if you want to enjoy your round of golf they really make it hard to enjoy any type of golf at orr lake golf and country club cuz of the rudeness and lack of care from this establishment! WORST COURSE IN ONTARIO BY FAR !!!!

Went with a buddy and played 18 holes-good,interesting course with many fun holes(some were a bit long). Great signage at the tees. We went on friday which is Fishy Friday-the have fish and chips,a cart and 9 or 18 for a great price. The fish and chips were great!! Will play again

Played here with my group and had a great time. A good test for anyone, pretty good condition for the price.
Would recommend this course for a good day of golf. The course won't kill you, but will test you.

This is fun and challenging course with very friendly staff and quirky clubhouse/pro shop. Gotta love the real wood decor in the washrooms :D . Anyhow the course is wild in places - least wise for this middling to bad golfer! On Hole 2, the 'fairway' is mostly water hazard with 2 bunkers at the back of the green if you hit too far. Hole 4 is a short par 3 but the green is surrounded 3 quarters of the way with a sand trap, and then water hazard the rest of the way. Hole 10 was my favourite - short short Par 3 and no water or sand hazards. I still managed to lose a ball in the bush though! Maybe it was the heat but the Par 5 holes felt like they should be Par 10's for all the curves and hazards! All in all, it's a beautiful course that will challenge you. Didn't see too many people walking and the carts are ancient, but do the job in getting you through some of the dark shady paths between holes. I would golf here again.

It's my favourite course in the region. Well laid out and maintained. The course is challenging but not too difficult to play. Quite a scenic view of Orr Lake from a few of the holes. I love #2 hole it makes my day when I hit the green. Nice restaurant and pro shop too. Good specials in both places.

This is a great golf course, in a charmed natural setting, which some really challenging holes. While it is a bit rough around the edges, the greens are fast and well groomed, with enough challenge for more experienced golfers. It is well worth the very reasonable rates that they charge. And it has community spirit that celebrates its locals. Each hole sports a tribute to those who have scored holes in one, with their names carved in wooden boards that are attached to two logs. This course was fun to play. And you get to drive through an enchanted forest!! And if you play in spring, as we did, that forest will be dotted with beautiful white trilliums, Ontario's official flower.

I have golfed at several other courses in the area and my favourite is and will always be Orr Lake. I have golfed here for over 15 years and love both the front and the back nine. Both have a variety of difficulty and amazing views of Orr Lake. My most recent experience was "Fishy Friday". You can't get a better deal for your money hands down!

I joined as a member of Orr Lake Golf Course which was highly recommended by many of my senior friends. It is a wonderful experience, so much so I am playing golf now three to four times a week. The 18 hole course is in top playing condition with a walkable and challenging layout. The rates are the best in Simcoe County. The staff all call me by name, the food and bar is excellent, the pro shop is well stocked, there are so many activities here all well organized. You can sign up for league play where you will meet a great group of people. Owner Jason Harris with his wife Andrea are always available for a chat and a good laugh. Cheryl & Steve in the pro shop and Denise in the dining area all make you feel welcome and put a big smile on your face. You can improve your golf game by signing up for lessons with the resident pro. There is a banquet hall with a vintage dance floor for weddings, parties & tournaments and an amazing home cooked meal can be arranged. This is truly a real relaxing COUNTRY CLUB with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

I have had the opportunity to play at numerous golf courses throughout Ontario as well as courses in Mexico, Honduras, and Roatan. I have played Orr Lake Golf Course for many years and considerate it to be my home golf course. The course itself offers difficulty that would challenge competitive golfers but not overwhelm novice golfers. The staff is excellent and eager to help with all your needs. The owner has done an amazing job upgrading the facility each and every year, great job Jason. Each spring I am intrigued to see what new changes took place in the off season. Dollar for dollar, you won’t find a better golf course.
