This is the major park for this area, and nice to have it on the Bay so the views of the water are great. Good place for a long walk.

The park has a running track that stretch’s out over a couple of miles and you can watch planes land, take off and taxi as a back drop!

Just a walkway along the bay for the most part. If stuck at the airport for a while take the Marriott shuttle there and back

Made my way across the road on my last day, wish I had done it sooner as it's a very pleasant spot. Relaxing with something to look at- the planes constantly coming and going. Spots to sit down in the shade or the sun and watch the world go by

Has a pathway so one could walk along the Bay and watch the SFO planes depart and arrive.
One could bike,scooter, run or walk along here and it is well occupied by visitors staying at the many nearby hotels.
Some hotels have bikes so one could bike along here.

- I bike on the Bayfront Park Millbrae, and on the Peninsula Trail, all the way down to Oracle Buildings, Redwood Shores during Summer time every year.
- From point A (the Bayfront Park, Millbrae) down to point B (Oracle buildings,Redwood Shores) back and forth takes approximately 18 miles, it takes 4 hours of biking that includes some short breaks between.
- The combo sceneries: Air planes landings and take-offs from SFO, hotels, restaurants, office buildings, freeway 101, wilderness, waterfront, beaches are super amazing !
- FYI: This is the only local and tourist attraction spot in San Francisco Bay Area that has all kinds of spectacular views in one shot.
- Please do come and enjoy !

This is a great walking, jogging, biking trail. Dog friendly, people friendly, and tremendous views of the bay and the airport.

View of the Bay and Planes
‘Ello chaps!
Bayfront Park is located in the shadow of San Francisco International Airport, with premium views of the runway and arriving and departing aircraft.
There is plenty of walking/running paths and greenery to sit down, have a little picnic and enjoy the day.
It’s well located near several hotels, but amenities are few. Few trash cans, benches, etc.
OVERALL: I give Bayfront Park Three CHEERS out of Five.

Es macht immer wieder Spaß hierher zu kommen. Man kann den Flughafen von San Francisco beobachten und kommt auch immer mit den anderen Spaziergängern in Gespräch.
Der Park ist auch eine sehr schöne Möglichkeit, die Zeit zwischen dem Checkout am Hotel und der (geplanten) Ankunft am Flughafen zu überbrücken.

En bordure de lagune, voici un parc aménagé qui vous permet d'observer le décollage ou l'atterrissage des avions, même si la proximité du Bayshore Hyw n'est pas ce qu'il y a de plus romantique. Une promenade agréable quand vous descendez au Westin ou au Marriott qui se trouvent à proximité de l'aéroport international de SF.

Can I walk from the airport to this park and how far is it.

Well.....yes, kind of. It's not far but to get there as far as I know you have to walk out of SFO along their VERY BUSY road then along the highway to get there. I contemplated it when I was there, then rejected it in favor of wheels. You can take the Westin's free shuttle, get off in the Westin parking lot, and you're right across the street from the trail. Or you can take an Uber/Lyft but be prepared to pay about $12.
