Hello, thank you for your review. We would like to address the many different parts of this, many statements of which are untrue. Firstly, as you may have seen in the news, coastal California has been going through many different storms and weather systems. We warn of potential bad weather not only in our confirmation email and waiver that you signed, but also while checking in at our shop, and during our safety speech before passengers get on the vessel. We give ample warning to all of our passengers and would of course give a full refund if someone chose not to go because of weather. We also would NEVER put any of our passengers in danger. We are always constantly checking weather conditions and speaking with other captains and chose to go out that day because we were able to. All the other companies went out that day as well. Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather - it was raining and a bit foggy that day, but we also still saw whales. We cannot control people getting seasick - we recommend taking seasickness medication, and if people don't, unfortunately they sometimes get seasick. This will happen even on the calmest of days. Secondly, in regards to our social media, we post the best of what we see and have worked really hard to build our following organically. We have hired some of the best videographers and photographers who work very hard to capture our best moments. We do not falsify ANYTHING on our social media and our thousands of great reviews should show you how great our trips can be. I was told that one of the crew members did repeatedly relay to you that the upper deck is not the most stable part of the vessel - the lower deck is. A double decker boat moves like a pendulum, and there is always more movement up there. We do warn heavily about seasickness and try our best to provide the best care possible to everyone who is feeling seasick. We cannot turn the boat around as many people paid a lot of money to see whales. However, that day we did get back almost an hour early (as it is normally a 4 hour trip), because the weather was not ideal. We also cannot control the wildlife. We did our best and saw 4 gray whales and 65 Risso's dolphin that day, which is a great day of seeing wildlife. On behalf of the entire MBWW team, we are very sorry that you had a poor experience with us. Like already stated, we cannot control the weather or wildlife, and always try to give our passengers the best experience possible. I highly encourage you to come back out on a calmer day with us to see the endless possibilities of Monterey Bay.
