Der Strand nahe der Cannery Row gefiel mir sehr gut. Es ist kein Badestrand, aber zum Spaziergehen und Schauen ganz nett. Es gibt sogar Wände mit Gemälden, die an die frühere Zeit erinnern.

Running along Cannery Row from Hoffman Ave to Prescott Ave near the Cannery Row Monument, McAbee Beach is a historic stretch of sand that in the 1800’s was used as a whaling beach by the Portuguese, then developed as a beach resort by John McAbee near the turn of the century, and from 1906 to late 1920’s was a site of a Chinese fishing village. Today, with the development along Cannery Row, one can only get glimpses of the beach between the buildings and access it from either end.

This beach is barely a beach. Being from the East coast I am used to vast wide open white sand beaches. This is more like a small stretch of waters edge where the building were torn down and the city said viola....here's a beach.

A l'entrée de Cannery Row, on pourrait passer devant sans la remarquer... une petite bande de sable pas très bien exposée... Si vous n'aimez pas le shopping, vous pouvez toujours vous y poser pour bouquiner, sous réserve de trouver un endroit où se poser, car c'est assez peuplé l'été!

This isn't a destination beach and probably not a beach you'd plan to spend a whole day, but it's right off Cannery Row and its a fun place to stick your toes in the water. There were some sea anemones and bubble seaweed stuck in the rocks. It was fun to look at them. The water was pretty cold, but not unpleasant. We enjoyed spending about an hour here.

Although this is considered a beach there's not much too it. Lots of people not much space, right in Cannery row.

キャナリーロウの途中にある小さなビーチです。天気のいい日は大勢の人が砂浜でのんびりとしています。景色が綺麗。

McAbee Beach is located on Cannery Row with access to the Monterey Bay. It is a wonderful sandy beach between El Toritios restaurant and the Spindrift Hotel. This beach also has ruins of old cannery buildings and is very scenic!

Not much there. Small with some birds, but tidal pools have nothing in them. Built up around the area and well traveled.
