An extraordinary institution in a beautiful, serene setting. The buildings are 'old world' with many trees adorning the campus and in sight of the beautiful mountains. Th students are very approachable and when listening to their various fields of study, you know you are in a scientific mecca. Everything about this institute reflects knowledge. The numbers of Nobel Prize winners speaks to its excellence.

My family and I had a nice self-guided tour of the campus. Everything is within walking distance, with ample greenery and shade. Each building has unique attributes and an interesting background which makes visiting very enjoyable.
Students and faculty were present (even during the summer). The institution gave quite a studious atmosphere! I would recommend visiting the admissions office at the start of your visit, as they provide visitors with resources and materials to enhance your walk!

So pleasant to walk around the University's campus and not only looking at the buildings but also the people who perform such a great task in leading the way to future discoveries. I mostly liked the pond with the turtles as well as the coffee shop area.

캠퍼스가 굉장히 작지만 건물들 마다 최신식이고 보안이 굉장히 잘 되어 있습니다. 파사디나에 가면 한 번 들러보세요. 학교가 아담합니다.

헌팅턴 라이브러리 갔다가 잠시 들렸는데 규모는 작은 편입니다. 그리고 식당쪽에 엠디샵도 있으니 구경해 보세요. 후드티 하나 사려다 그냥 왔는데 살 걸 그랬나봐요. 말로만 듣던 칼텍에 와볼 수 있어서 좋았습니다.

CalTech as it is popularly called has a beautiful campus. There is a lot of greenery as well in the midst of all the buildings. Certainly would very highly recommend to visit the CalTech campus to anyone.

We chose a Sunday afternoon to stroll around this esteemed campus. It was remarkably tranquil without the normal bustle of student life.
It’s a wonderful and extensive space, no doubt inspiring the research and study undertaken here. Lovely architecture is to be seen, combined with copious greenery and flora.
The Kerckhoff Biological Sciences Laboratories building is gorgeous with much decorative features. As the highest edifice the Millikan Library is impressive with a fine water feature fronting.
The chemist and inventor Arnold Beckman had a major influence on the Institute. While a Professor here he founded Beckman Instruments, whose instruments featured and continue to feature in laboratories worldwide.
An eponymous Auditorium is another landmark building, an architectural gem.

Regrese a Caltech para efectuar actividades. También es interesante como visita para turistas. Se pueden ver edificaciones tradicionales que contrastan con modernas. Cada edificio tiene un nombre del filántropo que dono el edificio . Empresas y ex alumnos que han triunfado. Un instituto de una calidad académica excelente.

I'm visiting Pasadena and would like to walk around the Caltech campus. Can I bring my dog for the walk?

A rep of the Institute indicated it should be no problem as long as the dog is leashed and you clean after the pet. Do not enter any of the buildings with the pet.
