This well designed course was very neglected during the time it was owned by Warrior Golf who went bankrupt in 2019-20. The course was subsequently purchased by the 55+ community it is part of, Trilogy at Rio Vista. The course has drastically improved and the HOA owner is committed to continuing the work needed to update. It is one of the few courses in the general area where you can get a decent Tee Time on a Saturday morning and to play your round in less than 5 hours. The course is managed by CourseCo who have made tremendous improvements, including stocking up their superb Pro Shop stocked with fabulous apparel and equipment.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. When you arrive you have to enter a gate with attendant. The course is in disrepair with poor fairways and really bad bunkers. I’ve never played a course with such poor fairways . The ruff was so long and old grass clippings piled up. The greens were decent/good on front 9. The back 9 greens were aerated with sand. The tee boxes were awful on quite a few holes . The only saving grace was we had course pretty much all to ourselves. We did see a group of 6 players on 2nd hole so we skipped to 3rd and played the rest with no one around . I hope the course can get back to its old glory . I’m not sure when that was but it’s not now!
