What can I say.. I don't drink beer but my boyfriend loves it. We come to this place just to hang out and have a beer. The staff is always super friendly, my boyfriend loves their beer and the place is mellow. It's such a better atmosphere than the traditional bar. We have yet to have a bad experience and it's one of our favorite hang out spots!

I have met more people here and had so much fun. And don't forget great beer! This place reminds me of Cheers! And they have a great selection of beers, always creating seasonable favorites.

ok ok so I know that all the review that I read were very high on the horse about this place...
the prices seemed fair, the staff was friendly enough, the decor was ok.
The problem for me was that I was not a HUGE fan of the beer itself, granted I only tried a few...I would say the beers that I tried were mediocre.
It still seems pretty new, I would give it another go.

We live nearby and had friends visiting, so spur of the moment headed over to Do Desperados. They seem to have a loyal and growing following, and our friend and my husband enjoyed the brews they tasted. Don't think either was bowled over by it, but it was close by and a friendly place.

I'm a big fan of local craft beers. Dos Desperados has a solid, varied line of brews. A modest operation compared to some, but I'm never disappointed. Owner and lead brewer Steve may be there in the evening and will be glad to talk beer as long as other customers desire service.

I first visited this brewery when it was just starting out. Beers had an off-flavor to them. I recently went back and what an improvement! Much better tasting beers, their El Hefe Hefeweizen is a decent beer to drink on a hot day. I recommend trying out this brewery!

Stopped in for a couple tasters of there beer on a Sunday around noon.
Beer was ok, place was dead.
I would go back, as they are still quite new, and would like to see how there beer is coming along.
It is a small nice tap room, no food.

This is now the official closest beer brewery to my house. Which living in North San Diego county off the 78 brew trail is saying a lot. What I like is the easy going ambiance of the place. also they have a number of brews and some great product. Also they have a brew club which I think it the bomb. My favorite are the spicy pepper beers. I am going to take them to the holiday functions this year as I think they are super interesting. If you want a TRUE local experience, try them. Owner and family always there and super nice

We had some time to kill before a ,movie so we searched for a place to try some ber. BOy are we lucky that we found Dos Desperados. All five beers we tried war to our tastes and wonderful. They are very friendly and knowledgeable both about there beer making and other breweries in the San Diego County.
Dos Desperaods has events - They have a trivia night, invite in food trucks or BBQers and you are encouraged to bring in your own food.
Not to be missed.
